Defining the intention before observing the outcome
Steve’s emphasis on specificity has me thinking about how to phrase an intention clearly. I’m learning sales and practical AI, and ‘communicate better’ is a much wider goal than ‘explain one idea in words another person understands.’ Before exploring a new practice, I’d like to know what I’m actually hoping to notice, while leaving room for an uneventful result. How do you choose a specific intention without narrowing it so much that you start interpreting everything as a match? I’m interested in the process of defining it thoughtfully.

Thanks for taking the time, Steve. Identifying the actual exchange and who I’m speaking with gives me a clearer starting point than “communicate better.” I’d want the person to leave understanding the idea, and me to understand whether I explained it clearly. That’s something concrete I can reflect on afterward.
Keeping an observation log useful
I introduced myself here yesterday and mentioned my interest in keeping useful records of what we try and observe. I'm learning practical AI, and that habit matters to me when exploring a new idea too. Steve's question about knowing whether a practice works caught my attention. How do you structure an observation log so it captures the uneventful days as well as the things that stand out? I'd appreciate a simple format that keeps the observation separate from the explanation we might give it.

Welcome to the Morphic Field Lab
I first came across the concept of morphic fields after listening to programmed energetic audios created by Sapien Medicine on his Youtube channel. This led me to research the work of Rupert Sheldrake and the concept of morphic resonance. I definitely benefited from morphic field audios and wanted to know how to create my own. However, there was a problem, no simple framework existed that laid out how to create these field audios. All the information was esoteric and hard to follow. I promised myself that I would create my own morphic field audios and even started my own Youtube channel named Five Minute Fields. https://www.youtube.com/@FiveMinuteFields/videos In simplest terms, a morphic field is a pattern created as a result of intention + emotion. Focus your intention on an outcome and experience that emotion or transmutation of emotions upon achieving that outcome. Perform this for a set period of time. The resulting pattern can be embedded into an audio file. Its really a form of manifestation. The benefit is that you can replay the audio files over and over. Remember, repetition is key for manifestation. Back to my story. After a few attempts, my engineering mind started asking a lot of questions: 1. How long should I hold the intention for? 2. Can intention alone be recorded in an audio file (no vocal affirmations)? 3. Can more than one intention be embedded into an audio file? 4. How will I know if the fields really work? You will learn the answers to these questions inside. For #4, my evidence was through experiencing synchronicities. The better dialed in my techniques, the more I began to experience synchronicities directly correlated with my set intention. In my case, these were repeated numbers, and chance encounters. The more I practiced field creation, the more coherent my thoughts and greater number of synchronicities I experienced. Reality is nothing more than a series of morphic fields, all interwoven together. You can literally change reality through mastery of your practice.

Caleb, keeping a simple record could make this easier to explore: what you expected before trying something, what you actually noticed, and what else was happening that day. What would you find most useful to track?

Good to meet you, Temidayo. I just joined too. What drew you to this community, and is there one question you’re hoping to explore first?
Hello from Tennessee
Hi everyone, I’m Glen from Tennessee. I spent about 20 years as a contractor and now work in sales while building practical AI systems and learning tools. I studied computer science and graphic design and later earned a generative AI certification. I’m interested in personal growth, thoughtful questions and keeping useful records of what we try and what we observe. I’m here to learn about your experiences and contribute where I can. Glad to meet you.
