Ever have that annoying situation where you know that pesky mouse cursor is "somewhere" but can't find it? (Especially for those on multiple screens like me, currently at 6 screens going to 8!!) Well, double press the Control key and it should display are large white circle over the mouse itself making it easy to find out where it went.

Question from my friend Denny
Hi Skoolers, posting for Denny here. Here is a question he had. What is your favorite software tool for this type of project? Hello Skool members! I would like some advice. I am using Windows 11. I am working on working on a presentation about Global Warming to show to the residents at the retirement community where we live. I have an outline for the script and I am doing online research to educate myself and get graphic material for a "slideshow" type presentation. I realize that I don't understand enough about the Windows files system to use it to really help organize all aspects of this project. I am a retired engineer and I learn best from combinations and words and "pictures" --- stuff like circuit diagrams, schematics, flow charts etc. I have searched far and wide on the internet and was surprised not to find much. I would very much appreciate any suggestions you might have.

While this is where we can have some fun, learn, and message each other, if you really do need IT Support, please email [email protected] as always, as that is the way to get the IT support you might need. But for questions about Technology in general, the occassional contest where you can win various IT services and yes, I might just chime in with the answer to a real technology question you might have and save you some $$, I just wanted everyone to know that you can reach out to our normal support process when IT emergencies or support is needed.

Okay here are the stats on those passwords. 1. Green-Bora-Bora-85-88 Approximate Crack time is 2,112,459,207,341 centuries 2. fP8HEld"RuRk.a4b}w2n Approximate Crack Time is 55,794,372,293,534,470,000 centuries So, I have a correction. I had my numbers flipped. 🤣 @Jim Paulson is actually correct and our winner. While both of these are secure passwords I would certainly rather type the first one. Password Strength is about randomness and #2 is definitely random. It is an example of a typical password that a password manager would generate for you. Is everyone using a Password manager? If not why not? So congratulation @Jim Paulson and sorry for my mistake there. I originally had some added items to my passphrase which actually did make it the winner but had changed it last minute. But wow, both of those are really secure.

Here is a 3rd one that beats the other two. #3. .Diploma.overheat.pectin.unused.Golf. Approximate Crack time is 805,018,023,608,719,000,000 centuries. Goal is 5 or 6 words that are easy for you to remember, adding separators like - or periods, maybe capitalize a word or two and and in a number and yeah, easier to type and remember.
