Hey, I’m Glenn. I’m an Aussie from Tasmania, and for most of my adult life I worked in hospitality and retail. Sixteen years of long shifts, late nights, and sore feet. A big chunk of that was spent in kitchens as a chef, working 10 to 12 hours a day. The job taught me discipline and resilience, but after years of living that way I knew I wanted something different. I wanted more time, more freedom, and a way to build something that could grow without me burning out. That’s what led me into the online world. I started self-publishing books just before COVID, and it completely changed how I saw things. Creating something once and watching it reach people all over the world felt incredible. Readers buying, enjoying, and even leaving reviews about something I built from scratch gave me a sense of purpose I hadn’t felt in years. It was the first time I realized I could create value in a way that kept working long after I put the effort in. Over time I also got into building communities online. I enjoy breaking things down for people, showing them clear steps, and helping them turn an idea into something real. There’s nothing better than watching someone go from “I don’t even know where to start” to “I actually built this.” It’s fun, it’s creative, and it feels good to know I can play a small part in someone else’s journey. Outside of business, I’m a bit of a thinker. I love puzzle games, mysteries, and anything that makes me stop and really work something out. I guess that ties into why I enjoy making websites, designing banners, and tinkering with tech. It scratches that same itch of problem-solving and creativity. I’ve also got a black belt in judo, which gave me a love of structure and discipline, but also balance. Too much of one thing and life just doesn’t feel right. At the heart of it, what drives me is freedom. Freedom of time, freedom to create, and freedom to live life on my own terms. I want to travel more, start a family, and not stress about money every second of the day. And while I’m working toward that, I enjoy helping others build their own version of freedom, whether that’s through publishing, building a community, or just believing they can do more than they thought possible.
