Found this from yesterday's match.

Guys, I know we do this Mondays but with me traveling back from Portugal, I did not get a chance to post... So see below.. Monday Reflection 🧤 Each Monday, I want you to share your reflections from your game over the weekend — or your training session if you did not play. Tell us what you felt went well, but also be honest about what did not go so well. If you made a mistake, share: 1. What happened? 2. What could you have done differently? Remember, every mistake can be turned into a positive if you learn from it and move on. If everyone shares their reflections, comments on each other's posts and offers support or advice, I genuinely believe Monday Reflection could become one of the most powerful parts of this community. It gives you the chance to look back, learn, make small adjustments and improve your game week after week. So, how did your weekend go? Share your game or training reflections below. Ray

First of all, sorry I’ve been a bit quiet, guys — I’ve been away in Olhão, Portugal, catching up with my lifelong friend and J4K Ireland coach, Matt Gregg. And it really is a funny old world… While walking through the many narrow streets of Olhão, I suddenly spotted a very familiar face staring back at me from an estate agent’s board. It was Tiago Maia. Tiago was a professional goalkeeper here in Portugal, and J4K sponsored him for around 8 years before he retired a couple of years ago. So it was a brilliant surprise to randomly see his face while walking around Olhão. I reached out to him straight away and finally had the pleasure of meeting Tiago properly in person after all these years. And now, in another strange twist, Tiago is going to help me buy a property here in Portugal. So after all those years of J4K glove sponsorship, I’m hoping he remembers who looked after him and gets me a VERY good deal! 😂 Funny how life works sometimes.

One of the risks of being a GK, when you put your body on the line unlike any other player in the team!

Guys, the petition is now finally live - check out the link below and share (obviously only if you believe in my mission). https://supportenglishgoalkeepers.co.uk/home Ray
