Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Khays? Like, seriously, she built a 13-module course, complete, from start to finish, for real estate VAs. The kind of course you'd usually pay thousands for since it's basically a real estate ops certification. And she's giving it away, for free, again for FREE!! She's paving the way for real estate VAs something she learned alone, in the hard way and now she's just handing it to us. What did we do to deserve this. This could've easily been paid, the depth is there. How commission actually flows, why "selling agent" and "seller's agent" mean completely different sides of a deal (I thought they were the same, they're not), the whole six-stage flow of a transaction from lead all the way to closing. This isn't beginner filler. This is the kind of info that makes you useful to a real client from day one. My takeaway so far: the 80/20 split really hit me. Agents only earn money from about 20% of what they do, meeting clients, negotiating, closing. The other 80%, paperwork, deadlines, follow-up, is necessary but doesn't earn them anything directly. That's literally the whole value of what we do as VAs, in one sentence. I've been doing pieces of this for months without really knowing why it mattered so much to my client. But now I do. Sooo, open discussion for this thread: what did we even do to find someone like Khays? 😭 And more importantly, how do we actually pay it back? Not just a "thank you" in the comments, but really. Referring people? Showing up and applying this well so it reflects on her work too? Testimonials? Genuinely curious what everyone here thinks? Drop your own biggest takeaway from the modules below

From "How will I even do this?" to "I actually understand how this works!"
As someone transitioning from being a General/Admin VA in a different industry into Real Estate VA these modules have honestly opened my eyes to how the real estate industry actually works. I used to wonder what my first day with a real estate client would look like. If I cold-pitched and got a discovery call, what questions would I even ask? What would I need to know? How would I understand the processes and support the client effectively? Now, I feel like I finally have the bigger picture. I understand the conversations, the questions to ask, the processes involved, and how the different pieces fit together. That alone has given me so much more confidence. My favorite parts so far have been: ✨ Receiver & Arriver responses 📄 Real estate documents 🤝 Transaction coordination These modules have made the transition feel a lot less intimidating, and I’m genuinely excited to put everything into practice. Now, I’m looking forward to diving into the systems and how to get hired. Huge appreciation to our admin for putting all of this together and making this transition much easier for us. 🙏🏽

Hi everyone! I wanna share something I learned recently as a real estate VA.
I am a new VA especially in the Real Estate industry, only 7 months in. I juggle a lot — whatever my client needs, I say yes. Content, automations, CRM, lead follow-ups, adding listings, whatever comes up. I love being a rockstar VA, the one who can do it all, the one they can't imagine replacing. So for months, "yes" was basically my default answer. Until I hit a wall. I was burnt out. I was still delivering, still hitting deadlines, but running on empty underneath it. So for the first time, I said no. I told my client I needed time off. Her replies came in fast: "Oh no Leslie!!!" "Is this temporary or permanent?" "Finding someone to replace you right now would be a total setback." "Can you pls get back to me so I have clarity on my next steps." Five messages, and no "are you okay?" in any of them. Honestly, my first reaction was pride. I had made myself that important. Isn't that the whole goal — be so good they can't run the business without you? But the more I read those texts, the more I saw it differently. She wasn't panicking about me. She was panicking because there was no plan for me needing rest. I had said yes to everything for so long that I became the only safety net — not because I was valued, but because nobody had built a backup. So I didn't rush to fix her panic. I told her the truth: I needed the time, not to protect the business, but because I couldn't keep pretending I was fine. That was scary to say. It was also the first time I put myself first in that relationship. What I learned: being needed and being valued are not the same thing. Saying yes to everything doesn't make you a rockstar VA — it just makes you tired and impossible to replace, which sounds nice until you're the one who needs a break and nobody's ready for it. Know your worth enough to rest anyway. Set boundaries especially when you're a new VA which is so prone to scope-creep clients. There's still so much more to learn

You did the right thing. Setting boundaries is where it is in these remote work setup. it's what helps you show up better long-term. Hope you get some rest and come back stronger.
