The more I learn GoHighLevel, the more I realize you can spend an entire day “setting things up” and somehow finish nothing 😂
I’ve been trying to separate the tools from the actual work. gohighlevel.com handles the CRM and automations, chatgpt.com helps when I’m mapping out workflows or troubleshooting ideas, and floment.ai keeps the projects and next tasks I actually need to finish visible. It sounds simple, but having a clear next action stops me from endlessly tweaking workflows that already work. Anyone else guilty of overbuilding their automations instead of just shipping them?

What tells you a workflow is ready to use? I'd be looking for one complete test from enquiry to handover, including what happens when someone replies or the automation fails. Otherwise it's easy to keep adding things without knowing whether the basic job works.
Submit Your Video Ideas?!?
I am recording youtube video today! Please put some video requests down below, and let me know what specific bottleneck you are running into with your agency. p.s. be specific... not vague

A walkthrough of a useful monthly client update would be good. What would you show a trade-business owner to explain the work done, what changed and what needs doing next, without sending them a wall of dashboard numbers?

BOOM. I’ve hit $10k MRR! 51 paying clients, and it’s taken me just under seven months to get here. FEB 1st was my first cold call. By the end of this month, I’m on track to reach £8,300 MRR, which is roughly $11,000. My first 20 clients came from cold calling and walking into businesses. Now, nearly all my new clients come through Meta ads. I’ve hired a full time VA so I can concentrate on bringing in new clients, the 4 weeks has been me filming loom's and training the VA. I still work full time in my other business and have three children, so time is limited. Next year, I’ll be focusing on Trade Scale (my business) full time as I work towards £20k, £30k and beyond. I’ve learned so much this year: cold calling, selling, video editing and building workflows. I’m not joking when I say I could barely use a computer this time last year, never went on instagram and hadn't posted on facebook for 7 years. To anyone reading this: you have to become obsessed with learning and putting in the work. A big thank you to @Clay Lawrence . I watch every video and listen to your content in the car every single day. More than anything, I want to win the SaaS Gold Award next year. That’s my biggest goal now. Thanks, everyone!

@Valentina Elisabeth im in the process of slowly handing off the agency to a friend whilst staying in the loop and helping him grow it still but my main focus has switch to another project. i've got an SEO platform thats growing at the same time and were in the process of getting into GHL marketplace to handle some integrations with them to give ease of reports and updates to clients websites people might want. so 95% of my time now is focusing on that.

@Valentina Elisabeth mostly reporting features that give agency and client an easy visual run on it all is the main focus with the ghl integration

@Valentina Elisabeth the usual cold calls and ads has been doing alright. im just in the process of testing out a letter campaign getting 150 hand written letters out to businesses with a personal touch and a way to call or hit a landing page so im interested to see how that goes. and if it goes well ill put alot more focus into it

if the campaign works and it brings in a couple clients it scales up and we move locations too so instead of just been in my area we move out and hit up a wider audiance or change the trade slightly in the same area

Which bit are you stuck on: setting up the workflow, writing the first message, or handling the replies? Easier to work through one bit at a time for the first run.
