If you’ve recently started your own Skool community and you’ve reached that slightly bewildering stage of… “Right. I’ve got the community. Now what on earth do I put in the classroom?” 😂 Shannon Boyer, who runs The Classifieds, has an event coming up tomorrow that I think could be particularly useful for those of you who are still finding your feet with Skool. It’s called “Now What? Your Skool Class” and she’ll be looking at how to build your classroom with a bit more intention and strategy — not just filling it with courses and hoping somebody eventually wanders in and buys something. The session is about creating a classroom that actually supports your members, helps them get results and fits with how you intend to monetise your community. It’s on Wednesday 7th October at 3pm New York time, and if you’re fairly new to building a Skool community, I’d definitely pop along and have a listen. And if you haven’t discovered The Classifieds yet, it’s worth having a nose around there too. Shannon has created a community specifically around helping Skoolers get their businesses, communities, offers and events seen. 👉 EVENT LINK Sometimes the difficult bit isn’t starting the community. It’s the “Right… what do I do with the bloody thing now?” bit. 😂

If you’re a VIP and you’re wondering “Right… so how do I actually get my event onto the SED website now?” — this video is for you. I’m showing you exactly what happens when you submit your event, where to find the Magic Button, and how ridiculously simple the whole process now is. Your event can go from submission → my dashboard → SED Calendar + our shiny new website with a few clicks. No more forms flying backwards and forwards. No wondering whether I’ve got it. And no complicated tech wizardry required. 🪄 Have a watch and you’ll see exactly how it works. And if your Magic Button is refusing to be magical, give Des or me a shout and we’ll leap into action. 😂

A big congratulations to our latest members who jumped in and grabbed the VIP offer before the doors closed: @Ettjen Jansingh , @May Tinklenberg , @JoAnna Johnston , @Dimitie Kendall , @Tanmay More , @Kelli Howard @Janet Goodman , @Miranda Mitchell , @Dee Shepherd and @Tami Reagor 🥳 You lot are officially VIPs — and now it’s time to make the most of it! As a VIP you can promote as many different events as you like each week, and each individual event can be shared in the SED feed up to three times a week. Your events can be added to our SED calendar, included in our Weekly Bulletin and promoted on our shiny new Skool Events Daily website. And once the event is over, it doesn’t have to disappear into the internet abyss — you can share your replays too. We’ll also support you with promoting your events over in The Classifieds. If you’re posting there, we’ll help support your posts there too. And there’s more coming… VIPs will soon have access to workshops and 1:1 sessions with Des and me, where we can actually get stuck into your events with you, your promotion, your messaging, your audience and all those little things that can make the difference between “I posted it” and “people actually turned up.” 😂 Plus, you’ve got our Coffee, Chat & Collab sessions, opportunities to connect with other members, collaborate, get your events seen and tap into the support we’re continuing to build around VIP. So congratulations to our newest VIPs. 🥂 You grabbed the offer. Now let’s put it to work.

I sat down with Chen from Gallstones Tribe to find out a little more about the events he runs and, as usual with Chen, the conversation went in several directions! His upcoming webinar dives into gallstones from a Chinese medicine perspective. It is primarily aimed at Chinese medicine practitioners, but Chen explains that the first part is open to anyone curious about gallstones, whether for themselves or someone they know. But gallstones are really only one part of what Chen can talk about. With decades of experience in holistic health, Chen and his wife work across a huge range of areas, from physical health and herbs to supplements, stress management, wellbeing and looking at health from a rather wider perspective than we perhaps normally do. And his events aren't going to be dry lectures either. Chen reckons his humour is part of the deal, come along, learn something AND have a bit of fun while you're doing it. 😂 In fact, towards the end of our chat he threw down a challenge: Ask him a question he can't answer. Oooooh Chen... you may regret saying that in this community. 😂 Have a watch of our conversation, meet Chen, hear more about the events he's planning and then pop your questions below. Go on. Challenge the man. 😆 You can find the lovely and wise Chen right here.

Des and I would love to get some feedback from you in relation to the articles we provide in the Weekly Events Bulletin that goes here , there and everywhere. This will help us moving forward with what we have planned, which of course I know we haven't let you in on our plans as yet, but that time is coming soon my friends. So, please take part in our poll and tell us which articles you read in the Weekly Events edition .
