We've now got almost 260 actors in this community, and I want to make sure I'm actually giving you what you need. I've shared videos, advice, resources and hosted the Sunday Zooms but I don't want to simply keep telling you what I think you need. I want to hear from you. So I've put together a very short questionnaire. It should take no more than 3 minutes. And I’d really appreciate your answer: 1. What is the single biggest challenge you're facing in your acting career right now? 2. If you could get help with ONE thing inside Acting Rebels, what would it be? 3. Which areas would you find most useful? - Auditions & self tapes - Finding an agent - Getting more auditions - Personal branding - Social media - Creating your own work - Networking - Finding collaborators - Confidence & mindset - Understanding the business of acting - Making money between jobs - Other: _______ 4. What's stopping you from attending the Sunday Zoom sessions? - Time doesn't work - Sunday isn't convenient - I forget about them - I'm not sure what I'll get from attending - I don't like Zoom - I'd rather ask questions in the community - I don't currently have any questions - Other: _______ 5. What would make you want to come back to Acting Rebels every fortnight? 6. Would you be interested in smaller group sessions or workshops around specific topics? 7. Complete this sentence: "If Acting Rebels could help me ________, it would make a real difference to my career." And finally... Would you be interested in actively connecting with other actors in the community to collaborate, practise, create content or make films together? Be brutally honest. This isn't about telling me what you think I want to hear. I want to build Acting Rebels around what YOU actually need. Every role gives us an opportunity to leave people feeling something, whether it's hope, joy, sadness, inspiration or understanding. So before every audition, rehearsal or performance, let's ask ourselves: "How do I serve this thing called life?" Because the greatest actors aren't just performers... they're storytellers who remind us what it means to be human. Hello Amazing Team. I just received some lovely news. I have just been nominated for another Best Actor award.(See Screenshot). This would be second nomination. 2 Best Actor nominations including 1 win in the space of around 6 months may seem greedy, but i'll take it. I will find out at the awards ceremony on the 27th September if I have won. We have also been nominated for Best Director as well as Best Neurodivergent/Disability Film. Thank you to this amazing community for all the support and a huge thanks to Guy Allon. The support you give actors without charge is amazing. I would strongly recommend everyone to attend his zoom calls. Guy, unlike many acting teachers I have had actually wants you to succeed and the best for you. He gives his years of invaluable wisdom to help actors gain a competitive advantage. You'd be missing out if you don't attend. Thank you so so much Guy.
