Happy Monday AAC Team! We are 876 strong today, up from 835 last Monday. 41 new faces and the participation in here lately has been awesome to watch. First, lets talk event. 16 of you are signed up, so we are running two teams of 8 with people covering swim, bike, run and hiking on both sides! And we got our first sponsor - Maple Boost Nutrition is putting up prizes for the winning team! On top of that every winner gets a $25 gift card to The Feed. That one is not sponsored (yet), that is just a gift from me :). Most Miles in a Month officially kicks off 9/1 and teams get released this week. You can still join before the start, just fill out the form and I will get you on a squad: Most Miles Form Sign-up Here is how we are weighting it so that every discipline actually counts: - Run - 1 mile = 1 mile - Hike - 1 mile = 1 mile - Bike - 3 miles = 1 mile - Swim - 1 mile = 4 miles That is built off time, not distance. An hour of running, an hour on the bike and an hour in the pool all come out to roughly the same number, which is the entire point. Thank you @Ian Antonoff for helping coordinate and brainstorm with all of this! Secondly, a recap of what we pushed last week: - Connecting Claude to Zwift - and actually pushing real workouts to it, not just talking about them [link] - Endorphins app updates - what changed, plus 10 prompts to run against your own training data [link] - Diagnosing a bad run with Claude - the run that felt terrible, and what your data says actually happened - Backyard ultra training plan - off Last Soul Ultra weekend, built from your own history [link] - The beginner's guide to ultramarathons - off Leadville weekend. Everything from "what even counts as an ultra" to the prompt that builds your first plan [link] - Strength training as you age and what it does to muscle health - plus a strength coach prompt that interviews you, reads the research and books your next 90 days [link] - Buzz demo results - it is genuinely very cool. @Joshua Thomas , @Luis Dominguez , @Ed McKelvey , @Andres Jaramillo , @Giuseppe Carbonari , @Jake Williams , @.Kostya Panov and @Robby Gentry all have been helping demo. We are now opening it up to the rest of the team this week. This will continue to be a working group that will experiment with competitions, events, and fitness tracking. So come join when you get done Advanced Lessons tag #buzzready and I will send you the link! - Athlete OS Library prompt numbering is done - @Lars Johan Ulveseth thank you for the patience on that one, it took me about three weeks longer than it should have!
