PENNYROYAL TEA: the herb behind the Nirvana song 🎸🌿
I heard something on the radio (KINK) today that made me stop mid-sip…They said Pennyroyal Tea was the first song Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love wrote together. Wait… WHAT? 😂 Because the historical record tells a very different story. Kurt wrote Pennyroyal Tea in 1990 years before their marriage and a demo was recorded with Dave Grohl. Nirvana performed it live in 1991. So unless there’s some seriously obscure story hiding in the archives… that radio claim sounds like a big fat lie.. I wonder who tipped them 😏 But here's where it gets herbaly-really interesting (because gossip is boring, let’s be honest): Pennyroyal is a real plant - Mentha pulegium, a member of the mint family. For centuries, European folk medicine used pennyroyal for digestive complaints and to stimulate menstruation. It also became associated with attempts to end pregnancies, part of the dark folklore surrounding this herb. ⚠️ But don't turn folklore into a DIY recipe ⚠️ Pennyroyal contains pulegone, and concentrated pennyroyal oil can be highly toxic. My tea-tip of the day: If you want to distill the life inside of you, skip the dangerous pennyroyal and make yourself a beautiful hemp + mint tea instead 🍵🍃🌿 Hemp for the wild spirit + Mint for the freshness = Nirvana 😇 A little herbal magic in your cup. ✨

THE CINNAMON RITUAL WITCHES DO ON THE 1ST OF EVERY MONTH… ✨🕯️
There’s a reason cinnamon has been used in folk magic for prosperity, protection & attraction 🌀 On the 1st, stand at your front door with a pinch of cinnamon in your hand. Before you blow it into your home, set your intention: 🗣️ “When this cinnamon blows, prosperity enters. When this cinnamon stays, abundance remains.” Then blow 🌬️✨ Let the cinnamon cross your threshold and let the month begin. 🔮 Save this for the next 1st. 🧿 Share it with the person who needs an abundance reset.

Weedcraft Spinach & Cheese Burekas Ingredients - Puff pastry squares - Fresh spinach, chopped - Shredded cheese (your favorite melting cheese) - Hemp leaves and/or finely chopped hemp buds (optional, where legal) - 1 egg, beaten - Sesame seeds - Extra hemp leaf for decoration (optional) Directions 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a bowl, combine the spinach, shredded cheese, and hemp leaves and/or buds. 3. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each puff pastry square. 4. Fold each square into a triangle and pinch the edges tightly to seal. 5. Brush the tops with the beaten egg. 6. Sprinkle generously with sesame seeds, and add a hemp leaf on top for decoration if desired. 7. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and beautifully golden brown. 8. Let cool for a few minutes, then enjoy warm. Save this recipe and DM me a photo if you make your own Weedcraft burekas! 💚

Hi @Paul Rinckhoff Yellowing leaves on a weed plant are a sign of stress, but the underlying cause depends on where the yellowing starts, how it appears, and the plant's growth stage. To diagnose the problem, examine whether the yellowing begins on older or newer leaves, whether it is uniform or between the veins, and whether the leaf tips or edges are affected. Common Causes & What They Mean Bottom leaves turning yellow - Often indicates a mobile nutrient deficiency (such as nitrogen or magnesium), overwatering, or natural aging. - During vegetative growth, this usually points to a problem that should be corrected. - During late flowering, yellowing lower fan leaves is often normal as the plant redirects nutrients to developing flowers. Top leaves turning yellow - Commonly associated with immobile nutrient deficiencies (such as iron), excessive light intensity, heat stress, or pH-related nutrient lockout. - Bleached leaves closest to the grow light often indicate light stress. Yellow tips or leaf edges - Frequently caused by nutrient burn from overfeeding or, in some cases, potassium deficiency. - Burnt tips while the rest of the leaf remains green typically suggest excess nutrients. Common Causes & Recommended Fixes 1. Watering Issues - Overwatering: Saturated soil limits oxygen at the roots, reducing nutrient uptake. Plants often appear droopy with pale or yellow leaves. - Underwatering: Leaves may curl, become dry or crispy, and eventually yellow or brown. Recommended fix: Water only when the growing medium has dried appropriately for your setup, and ensure containers have adequate drainage to prevent waterlogged roots. 2. Nutrient Deficiencies - Nitrogen deficiency: Yellowing begins on older, lower leaves and gradually progresses upward as the plant reallocates nitrogen to new growth. - Other deficiencies (such as magnesium, iron, or potassium) produce distinct yellowing patterns that depend on the nutrient involved.
