NEW 8 Week Rowing Machine Conditioning Programme (Grappling) for Premium Members
For all of you grapplers on the Premium membership who only have access to a rowing machine for conditioning at your local gym, we've got you covered! Our 8 week conditioning programme will help you test where you're at, then build a savage gas tank, performing 2-3 conditioning sessions per week. You can tack this programme on to our strength programmes, either by performing the conditioning sessions straight after your lifting session, or on a separate day entirely. Rowing machines seem to be one of the most common pieces of conditioning equipment in lots of gyms, and they're an awesome piece of equipment for grapplers, so we wanted to make sure we had a programme built for you, if that's all you've got access to. To go Premium, simply click on the programme in the 'Classroom' section and sign up! - Coach Harry

NEW 8 Week S&C Programme for Beginner Premium Members
Introducing Premium memberships for Combathletes Worldwide and Victory in San Diego!
Combathlete and Epic Fighting Lightweight Champion Kellvon Clayton defended his belt this weekend at Epic Fighting 66. What's cool about Kellvon's preparation for this fight is that he was ready to take the fight with just a few weeks of notice. How? Because Kellvon trains all year round, and stays in 'a few weeks of notice' fighting shape. So when he gets the call, he's ready. Which means more fights, more opportunities, more money, and more wins. We have also launched Premium memberships for Combathletes Worldwide. For just $9 a month, you can get access to our world class strength programmes, conditioning protocols, injury guides, and mobility manuals - all resources that are proven and used at Combathlete on a daily basis. Simply click on one of the locked modules in the Classroom section and upgrade. We are going to be adding new Premium content every week, so jump on it now before we increase the price!

What's up, guys. My name is Zack complete newbie. I am actually a competitive bodybuilder and have always had a desire for MMA training but the primary focus on Bodybuilding doesn't allow for much else physically but I've decided to give some time and effort to a new endeavor and become a humble student again. Looking to learn fundamentals and see how I can adapt to new style of training and become a beginner again and find some new ways to push myself and maybe get my a** kicked in the process 😂. Thank you for your support

Hi Zack! Great to have you with us - you're right, competitive bodybuilding is its own sport, and won't pair well with MMA skills training at all. So you're making the right choice to focus on your MMA skills. Now the question becomes, what S&C should you be doing alongside your MMA training, to help prepare your body for the demands of MMA? Well, that's where we come in. Definitely have a browse through the free content in the classroom section to get started with. And then if you want more, the premium upgrade will give you access to our proven programmes and conditioning protocols 💪🏼 And of course, if you have any questions, feel free to send me a DM 🫡
Conor wins epic MMA Tournament and £5000 prize money
If you only knew the blood, sweat, and toil behind this prize money, you would say, ‘He deserves £50,000!” I’ve been coaching Conor, a lightweight MMA fighter, and full-time electrical engineer, since 2024. Conor is based in Manchester, and I’m in Canada, so we check in every week, digitally, to see how he’s getting on. I send him videos each week, coaching him on how to improve, build upon his weaknesses, and get more out of his physicality and his fighting career. He's hungry to have a promising career in the fight game, and I've enjoyed developing him into a human weapon for the last couple of years. At the tail end of July 2025, it all paid off, and it’s a keeper of a story if you ask me... 9 months ago, I asked Conor this simple sentence; “Would you like to get on a call early next week and discuss preparation for your potential 8 man tournament?” “Yeh mate, I’ll book.” He obliged, and we made a plan; - Get strong as fucking possible for a lightweight.  - Set numbers, criteria, standards.  - Build an iron set of lungs so we can cook our opponents if we need did to, knocking them out in the last round if we have to.  - Check in every week so we stay on track. 3 fights in 9 months. Winner takes £5000. Conor felt he could win it and we had 2 months until his first fight. We got to work but it was far from a smooth sea to sail. We battled; - The smoke of a building fire, that caused Conor’s lungs to shut down and admitting him to hospital. - Bouts of acute fatigue, as a result of working full-time hours as an electrical engineer, getting up and training at the crack of dawn before work, going to work a full day, then training after work.  - The gruel of smashing through 3 stages of a tournament, with 3 fights  3 weight cuts, 3 camps, in 9 months.  Conor couldn’t deserve it more, winning this prize fight tournament, especially when you know what he went through to get it. Congratulations to Conor and his coaches for their victories.
