I woke up this morning with a knot in my chest. 🪢
Fear. Doubt. That quiet voice asking whether any of this is actually going to work out. 😦 My daughter has her taster day at a new school coming up on the 10th of September. She's 12. She missed the whole of year 7, working her way back from autistic burnout, and soon she'll walk through a new gate to see if this one might be the place she gets to feel normal again. Make friends. Be a kid. 👧 Part of me has so much faith in that. Part of me lay there this morning terrified I won't even get her through the gate when the day comes. And underneath that fear was another one. The quieter one I don't say out loud as much. Will I actually see the success I'm working toward. Will the future I'm trying to build ever actually arrive, or am I just going to keep showing up and hoping. ❓ I think anyone building something they can't fully see yet knows that feeling. You're doing the work. You believe in it. And some mornings you still wake up wondering if it's real. So I did what I do when I need to steady myself. I pulled a card. Not my angel cards, my daughter's claimed those for herself now, which honestly makes me smile. I went to my animal spirit deck instead. The one I've always connected to more. I pulled Squirrel Spirit. 🐿️ The card says Believe In Yourself. The message underneath it stopped me. It talks about the wisdom and experience you've already gathered. About being surrounded by more resources and abundance than you realise. It says Squirrel Spirit shows up when you need reminding that the acorns you've gathered and stowed away have enormous potential to grow. That you can relax into knowing there is always enough. That through the diligent preparation you've already done, you have gained the wisdom and strength to co-create the reality you want. That spirit believes in you the way you're being asked to believe in yourself. 💫 I read it twice. Because that's exactly where I was standing this morning. Not empty handed. Not starting from nothing. Just someone who forgot, for one anxious hour before the sun was even properly up, how much she's already gathered.

I absolutely love that the card gave you that message. Absolutely perfect. It is so easy to feel that fear and forget the power that we do have. I'm in the same position: worrying the thing I'm building now won't work like the many other things that didn't work, and I've wasted a big bunch of time on it. It is shaky, but this post has really helped me to remember my own power a little more and have faith . Thank you
I've got your back" — a lesson I almost didn't learn 🙏
My son's friend pulled a nasty trick on him last week. Told him he'd meet him at the park, then just didn't show. He's only 10 and just started to be allowed out on his own in readiness for secondary school. My boy was stood there alone for 15 minutes. 😡 My first instinct, the old instinct, would have been to brush it off. Tell him not to worry about it. That's what I grew up with. When something like that happened to me, my parents never picked up the phone to sort it out. It was always somehow made to be my fault, because that was easier than having the awkward conversation with the other parent. 🧑‍🍼 But this time I did something different. I picked up the phone. It was uncomfortable. I didn't know how the other mum would react. She could have gone on the defensive, made it worse. But she didn't. She was mortified, she spoke to her son, and she apologised. And afterwards it hit me: the version of me that grew up believing conflict was always her fault is not the version of me I want raising these kids. I want them to know I'll stand up for them. And more than that, I want them to grow up with enough self-respect that they never end up settling for less than that, in friendships or in relationships. 🙏 Because I know what it costs when you don't. I spent years in a relationship where I was gaslit, controlled, and coerced, and looking back, a lot of that came down to not having enough self-love to say "this isn't right." ❤️‍🩹 So here's what I want you to ask yourself today: Where in your life are you still avoiding the "awkward conversation" because it feels safer than the discomfort of having it? And whose voice is that really, yours, or something you inherited? Growth isn't always the big dramatic leap. Sometimes it's a phone call you would never have made a year ago.

Wow, your poor son. I am so happy and impressed that you did this and you had his back and took control of the situation, even though it was scary. He will remember that, and he will know that you had his back when it mattered. How beautiful. And also, the other child will learn a valuable lesson in not behaving in a horrible way. All-round win.❤️🔥
I just posted my first ever YouTube video 🎥
This might not look like a big deal to some of you, but for me it is. A while back I was stalked online by an ex, and it left me with a genuine fear of cameras. For a long time, the idea of being seen, of my face being out there, felt unsafe. So the fact that I've just hit publish on my first video is something I want to sit with for a second, because it's proof of how far I've come. 🌱 I've started a YouTube channel, Mz Manifestor, and this first video is about vision boards, why most of them don't work, and what actually shifts things instead. If you've ever made a vision board that just sat there doing nothing, this one's for you. Thank you for being part of this community and for being part of the reason I felt safe enough to show up. 🙏

This is so huge that you've been able to step beyond that fear. Huge well done to you @Ceri Higgins 👏🎉 🙌 x

I want to tell you about the vision board I made 6 years ago that did absolutely nothing. 🫩 Pretty as hell. A stone farmhouse with land and stables, a photo of a woman who just looked like she had it together, some quote about "the universe has your back" and the dream 4x4 I wanted to drive around in! 😃 I made it on a Sunday night, felt amazing for about four days, then it just... sat there. On my laptop. Doing nothing. Because a vision board isn't magic. It's a mirror. And mine was showing me a life I didn't know how to build, because I hadn't become someone who could hold it yet. That's the bit nobody tells you when they say, "manifest your dreams." The ‘how’ was never yours to figure out. That part unfolds as it's meant to. What's yours to do is become the version of you who can receive what you're asking for, take the steps in front of you, and meet the universe halfway. You don't need to see the whole path. You need to become someone the path can reach. 🛣️ That's what I want to hand you. I'm running a 🎉Vision Board Party🎉 live inside Mz Manifestor. Not the "cut out pretty pictures and hope" kind. We're building a vision board for your Role Model Self — the most actualized version of you that you can actually see right now. Not a fantasy. Not someone else's highlight reel. Her. 💫 We'll go through seven parts of her together, live, in real time. How she moves through hard days. Who she's becoming, based on what you're already drawn to (your saved posts and Pinterest boards will tell on you, I promise). What her ordinary Tuesday actually feels like, because nobody sustains a life built only for the highlight reel. Who guides her, what she's transforming out of, what she's creating, and the stuff that doesn't fit anywhere but matters anyway. By the end, you won't just have a board. You'll have a mentor you built yourself, one you can go back to every time you're not sure what to do next. Dates not locked in yet, I'll drop it the second it is, so keep an eye on the community for that. 👀

Holiday 🏝️
I’m currently away in Egypt and it’s been a busy day. We did some snorkelling in the Red Sea which was amazing and had a ride on a camel 🐫 this evening. I totally manifested this holiday by imagining myself at the airport already on my way during my morning commute to work. It was so much fun and cheered me up in the early Morning rush hour, I really tapped into the feeling of travelling rather than going to work. 😀 It’s been such an amazing experience but it will be coming to an end when we go home on Thursday night. I love going away but I’m most definitely a homely person and like to get back home. My little boy is desperately missing his cat scruff 🐈‍⬛ What’s your biggest manifestation so far this year?
