Scary AI!
👥 What’s scarier than AI turning evil?🧠 👉 Humans forgetting what it means to be good. I just dropped a long-form essay on Substack about AI, morality, and what the Bible, Plato, and Augustine still have to say about the future. “The problem isn’t the machine. It’s the man who trains it without virtue.” 👀 Worth the read if you’re thinking about how to write (or coach) for this cultural moment.📖 Read. 👨‍⚕️ Book coaching by The Doctor of Digital: DM me.. #BookCoach #FaithInTheDigitalAge #SkoolWriters #HumanFormation

Hi @Mick,The Doctor of Digital Smith this is so true! There have been several newsworthy cases of AI being "racist", "sexist" or showing other unacceptable biases (i use these words in quotation marks because, as you say, it's not the AI, but how it has been programmed and trained by humans). AI is ultimately a machine that has just been trained in a particular way with a particular data set - no matter how "intelligent" or "knowledgeable" it appears, it is a machine underneath. It is not a person, and is not human. It cannot really "think". Teachers like me and you are still needed to help provide the human touch in one's writing (including marketing), and ensure that our creative outputs resonate with actual people - our customers and readers. From the user's end, AI is only as good as what is fed into it (the prompts we type) - GIGO (garbage in, garbage out), as they say. 🤖💻🧠🧍
