72 Hour Fast, are you joining us?
I’m so excited to introduce you to the 72 hour fast! It’s the most elegant fast in our fasting repertoire. It contains ALL of the benefits in each fasting window, with the addition of an immune system reset! I created a one-page checklist to give you information easily referenced. It’s attached here, and also in the Week 8 folder. On Sunday, Karla and I decided we were going to start our fast Wednesday. Will you join us? Is anyone using a keto-mojo or blood glucose monitor? For me, the biggest symptom while fasting is fatigue or headaches. I will use a fasted snack first, and a hot bath when able. There’s a section on the check list for detox symptoms. Please use the group for questions or just to share. We’d love to follow along. Wishing you a successful fast, no matter the length! Each time we fast, the body has an opportunity to heal another layer. 🦋

@Karla Yauchler Thank you for this feedback! I think you may have single handedly solved the 💩 issue for fasting! I'm going to experiment.
Thank you, Ember fam!
Tonight was our last class together, and I wanted to take a moment before this cohort officially closes to say thank you. Thank you for showing up week after week. Thank you for doing the work, tracking your fasts, sitting with the discomfort, adjusting when your body asked, and trusting the process even when it wasn't easy. That takes commitment, and courage. Catch the last class here: https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/5hL6GwFCjFKv1fcWxuiHpQDDzcYQBrcUoqQhzAZOQiJKBVfiZiLNc8QViFEWiGzO.PWJvaPWpgBy9T5qH I'd love your feedback. This program will keep evolving, and your experience is the best guide I have. If you have a few minutes, I'd be so grateful if you could share: - What worked for you - What didn't work - What was missing Feel free to drop it in the comments below or send me a DM, whichever feels more comfortable. I'm still figuring out what this group's membership will look like going forward, but I hope you'll stay connected here in the meantime. This community doesn't have to end just because the program did. And if you know someone who might benefit from this work, midlife hormone shifts, metabolic health, or just wanting a reset, I'd love an introduction. I'm building the next cohort now, and word of mouth from people who've been through this program is everything. Thank you again for trusting me with this season of your health. I'm proud of every one of you. With gratitude, Holly 🔥

@Laura Hillyard thank goodness!😅
Hello
Hi everyone. Wanted to share about the fascia hydrator from the MELT Method. It’s been around about a year and it has vibration of 40, 70, and 90 hz plus a 6 second oscillation for Breathwork. Also for the lymphatic drainage that Holly mentioned. Been doing for about a little more than a year. It’s been so helpful for me to have less swelling and my waist curve is coming back. Couldn’t do the 72 hour fast, been stressed out with working on finding a place to move. Been having a lot more swelling, despite doing all the things-drinking water, lymph drainage, salt. Middle finger on right hand is pretty swollen and hard to bend. Thanks for sharing Holly about the cortisol chart. I think that is what is going on. I loved the 36 hour fast and felt really good after. I didn’t want to eat for 12 hours, but did it anyway. Glad you mentioned how if we wanted to keep fasting, to notice any of those signs (can’t remember what you called it-stress signals?). I also think my craving for sweets has decreased and when I do eat them, they don’t taste very good……yikes. That is weird for me. And ok at the same time. Hope to be on tonight. Laura

wow, Laura. there’s a lot here. thank you for sharing the MELT method with us here, can you let us know where you are offering classes right now? I do think that cortisol is important to understand. I’ll share more about cortisol on tonight’s call. I do hope you can make it. Sweets don’t taste very well for me, either, after pulsing in longer fasts. It’s such a sign, and I’m glad you’re right there. Keep going, Laura! You can pulse in fasts that are shorter, and can also help support cortisol by shifting your fasting window. I’ll cover that tonight. Heart hugs.
