Just started making chess videos, would love your feedback 🙏
Hey everyone! I've recently started making short chess videos, mostly about classic opening traps with a bit of story and cinematic effects. My goal is to help people learn chess in a fun, interesting way instead of dry analysis. Here's one of my first ones, the Lasker Trap (Albin Countergambit). https://www.tt.site/t/ZPLSKjTa4/ I'm still learning, so any feedback helps a lot: - Is the story easy to follow? - Pacing: too fast or too slow? - Do the effects help, or are they too much? And if you enjoy it, a follow would mean a lot and really help me keep going :D Thanks for taking a look! 🙌

@Dan Sh. I research the gambit or trap first, then think about the storyboard and main character. I build the flashbacks and cutscenes around them. The game is the main focus, but the cutscenes make the video more interesting. You can create these effects with Alight Motion or Adobe After Effects. Thank you! I’ll try adding more camera shake and impact in the next video. I toned them down this time because I wanted people to focus on the game, but I agree the video need more dynamic.
