YSong Update...
Hello all. So, as most of you know, I am slowly building a Suno AI killer myself. This past week, a huge chunk of the site has been complete. I managed to build YSong World where people can publish their music, comment on the songs, save the song to favorites, save the album, and follow the artist. I successfully have a nice online DAW going that allows you to use your already installed VST3 instruments and your plugged in real life instruments to build songs within the DAW using an external bridge. This has never been done. This bridge also uses audio drivers such as ASIO4ALL and WASAPI if you have them installed on your computer. And you can now export your final DAW builds into 16/24 bit wavs, flac (lossless), and mp3's of any kbps you choose from 64-320 kbps. At the moment, I am building effects, such as a compressor. And it won't be long that AI can build songs directly into the DAW. I already am using the OpenAI api for chatting with AI personas and it currently manages files in the asset drawers. The website is not public yet, as I am doing this locally off of my computer to save on cloud fees. Once it is ready, I'll figure out a way to make it cost effective and have it live for everyone. The AI currently can play any audio within your asset drawer, but soon generate songs into the DAW itself, or individual tracks.

Needs work but the compressor is fantastic! Gonna build other devices such as echo, reverb, flange, chorus, phase shift, audio spectrum, eq, tube amp, and so forth lol. All of which can be modified in the FX chain. 😁
Spotify to label AI artists as personas
I saw something today about Spotify now labeling Ai artists as Ai personas and if you are auto labeled it will make you ineligible for editorial playulists etc. I don't know if monetization after 1k steams is changing. Anyone else see it?

Actually they are going further than that. They are labeling music as AI as well thanks to Suno's new hidden Watermarks. You can still get algorithmically recommended as long as people are saving songs to favorites, adding to playlists, or following you.

@Brian Myers Whats really crazy is this. And I already have this feature working. Lets say you are signed in to both the desktop and mobile simultaniously. Whatever you do on the desktop will end up on mobile and vice versa. Like lets say you got some beats going but you gotta take a shit. Bring the phone with ya and do it on the shitter. LMAO

Was coding YSong all day long lol. It's my future Suno killer. I think I am finally able to have my synth communicate to the vst3's through a website using my bridge. Just got it working after hours of trying.
If you love it, why label it?
With all the changes recently to label AI music, I keep wondering if you have to have a label so you can tell if the song you love is AI or not, then what does it matter? Good music is good music. I am a hybrid creater and just today I got a comment on YouTube that said great Ai mix. So, they can't tell that I really played the bass and piano on the song. LOL, I think if they have to label and go out of their way to show there is AI being used it is useless and futile. What we are doing today is pioneering the future. Everyone resisted "Talkie" movies until one day they didn't.

Its a trust factor. Some people genuinely wanna know if it was made by a real person or AI. Not telling them the truth makes you look like a liar and the trust factor between the content creator and the listener is broken. Another reason are the bad apples that are mass uploading in sheer volume to beat the system. Platforms are just now taking action on this. And labeling them as AI is one way. Deezer is already deleting AI songs not listened to in 6 months. TIDAL is no longer monetizing AI music. Spotify is no longer putting AI music in the editorial playlists and discover weekly. And is now issuing two kinds of ai persona badges. One to let people know that the artist self closed AI persona and the other (which is worse) will label you that you are likely an AI persona to make the artist marked a distrustful source. It's a war right now.
