Hey everyone! So I just launched a new artist project called "tethermind," and the debut single, "Noize," is officially live on all platforms. 🪐 What makes this one extra cool is that it's a collaboration between four of us here at mastering.com. I composed, arranged, and wrote the lyrics; @Lucy Warr nailed the emotion and vibe with her vocals; Chris Georgiou took the vocal production to a top-tier level; and @Damian Baca spiced it all up with some dope sound design and did the final mix/master. Here's the link to stream: https://ditto.fm/noize-tethermind Thanks!

For those that want Vinyl for your fans, here's something you might want to check out if you haven't already. I remember a group I played with had a song called "Going Bananas" and release a yellow album. So, I thought I'd pass this on just in case there are interested parties in our group. https://www.discmakers.com/products/vinyl?utm_campaign=EA2608&utm_medium=Email&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-8EHZFEUj4PQfYHj6aiGFxSPKB9I2dB9Mrykl3WveYP0kjVR0-KJoGqx-6ov-30eDe4B9CkBZm4FvAtqDpagDU3Fesm-g&_hsmi=405047772&utm_source=DMAudio

One of my artist clients and friends, @Canyon Cottle, just released his debut album, and it’s been about a year in the making. I met Canyon at a local open mic back in my hometown and was immediately struck by his songwriting, voice, and sincerity. At the time, he didn’t even have music on Spotify yet, and now here we are with a full album out in the world. This project has been a joy to work on. Canyon takes his craft seriously, puts in the work, and genuinely loves making music. He’s got big goals of touring, traveling, and continuing to grow as an artist, and this release is a huge step in that direction. If you’re into mountain folk / indie folk-pop vibes, I think you’ll really enjoy this one. And more than anything, I just want to give Canyon a public high-five because writing and recording an album is not easy, and seeing it through to the release takes commitment and heart. Congrats, Canyon. Proud of you, dude! Here’s the album if you want to check it out: https://open.spotify.com/album/0zIlKfRX6Eq11BlZBUsX2v

Hey everyone, for those of you in Premium and VIP, the weekly music composition class will resume next Wednesday, the 21st, at 7pm EST. We will be going through a new and improved 6-week course, learning about music composition, arranging, scoring, and sync licensing. And after those 6 weeks, we'll continue with a weekly call for music composition feedback and practice sync briefs for you to build up your personal music catalog. We had a lot of fun doing this last year, and I'm excited to start it back up with you all again soon. Cheers!
