My RRS Intensive track is out :)
Hello all you good earthlings! My first ever release is here - the song I worked on during the RRS Intensive this summer no less. This is an instrumental electronic track inspired by the sounds and synthesizer greats of the 80’s - hopefully with a modern twist. Hope you all enjoy it! https://synkromia.com Many thanks to mastering.com and all the mentors helping me reach a level where I’m now overcoming my shadow imposter :) Special shout out to @Chris Georgiou and @Dane Holmes who provided invaluable advice and feedback to help me get this track off the ground. And everyone in the RRS course for their support!

@Petter Jensen Not yet, I ended up moving in September so had to push the release back a bit. Still coming sometime this year

RRS helped me finish my first song.
After breaking through some insane imposter syndrome, I was able to finish my first track, "Monarch." Would love to share it with you all. Finishing up mastering this week, and would love any thoughts or feedback for final polish before I release.

@James Kilkenny I’ll take it! :) Hopefully will get the chance to work with a proper vocalist instead of Splice in the future. There’s already a few tracks with that vocal out in the world, but at least my fans can get a sense of my take on it. Big ups to Chris for his energy arc lesson! Helped a ton.
Digital mixer and audio interface
I have a really stupid question. Its it better to go from a digital mixer into the audio interface or just take the mixer out?

I’ve been running a Tascam Model 24 to input all of my outboard gear into my DAW, the only bummer is you have to use (two channels) stereo fader for the daw output. I’ve got a little scarlett 4i4 for monitoring

Takes away two inputs and is an unreliable way to monitor your master output from your daw (since it has its own fader)
