Whats in your cave ?
There's a line from Joseph Campbell that's basically the whole reason this community exists: "In the cave you fear to enter, holds the treasure you seek." And every single story we've built this place on proves it. Bilbo doesn't want to leave the Shire. Frodo drags his feet for months before Mordor. Luke stares at those two suns because walking away from Tatooine terrifies him more than staying stuck ever will. Nobody walks into the cave excited, and none of these eventual heroes, in any of these stories does it because they feel ready. They did it because staying outside got worse than going in. Here's the bit that actually matters though. I reckon that you're already standing at the entrance to a cave, and I'd bet you're not confused about what it is. You know exactly what is stopping you. It's the conversation you keep rehearsing and not having. The offer you've written three times and not sent. The decision that's been sat on your desk for two weeks pretending to be "still thinking about it." That's not vague. That's specific. You've just been walking past the entrance. So, do me a favour and stop dodging today. What's your cave? Say the actual thing. Not "I need to be braver" or "I'm working on some stuff." Name the real thing, in one sentence, and drop it below.

@Aimee Jardon me too. 🙋🏻‍♂️ In my case, it was always that extra little tweak to make it perfect, then the second-guessing that came afterwards. 🤷🏻‍♂️ However, I've learned to accept that by not taking the chances, when they arise, then the opportunities continue to pass by. If there was one thing that you could do, right now, that would start the momentum, what would it be ?, and what would help to start the process ?

Who's Fired Up for today ?
The last few days have been nothing but a boiling pot of emotions, as I have been dealing with funerals and fractures. Fortunately, not directly related to my own immediate family, but all close enough to home to remind me what family and friends mean to me. Therefore today has started with a renewed sense of passion, focus, fun and fire, and so I got up early, enjoyed my coffee whilst watching a new fledgling Wren emerge into the world for one of its first adventures. Now my tunes are on, getting me in the mood for the focus and the fire, and planning for the days ahead. What dio you have on your schedule for today and the week ahead?
Who's Fired Up for today ?
Good morning all 🌅
It's a beautifully sunny Sunday, I've got my coffee in hand, and I'm genuinely buzzing for where this is all heading. We're all building something real here — not just for me, but for anyone who's had a fire go quiet and knows there's another one in them somewhere. We've all been there, and we all know what it takes to relight, and so I've started thinking about where this project is going. I've started thinking about why I started I&I, and what I want it achieve. I've started considering YouTube channels, podcasts, guests, and it's begun, conversations have already started, so watch this space. In six months, this place will hopefully be roaring, and I just wanted to say thank you, and I appreciate everyone who's already in this with me. And I want to know what you're fired up about for the coming week ? Now, go enjoy the sun before the week ahead starts to warm up. 🔥
Good morning all 🌅

@Angela Walker that sounds idyllic.. My best thinking always comes when I’m cleaning or cooking, so enjoy, and glad to have you here too. 🙏👍
A Secret and a Success
One of my favourite films ever is The Secret of My Success" with Michael J. Fox. It's about a guy whow wants to make it big, so moves from a small town to New York, takes a job in his uncles company, and through a mix of hustle, charm, and a bit of trickery, ends up secretly working two roles at once — mailroom clerk by day, phantom junior exe "Carlton Whitfield" by, well the same time really, sneaking between identities. I wont spoil it too much, but considering I was 12 when it came out, it inspired me, and ironically, I had my 1st business that year, which I'll tell you about another time, probably around Christmas 🎄 Anyways, I want to know something about you 🫵🏻 Tell me a secret about you and a success. They dont have to be connected, they just have to be something that you've kept to yourself here, and something else that you're proud of. It's as simple as that, and to start it off, I'll go first 👍 My Secret is that I taught myself to DJ by going to my local nightclub on a Sunday, when they were cashing up from the night before. I'd have my packed lunch, and I would spend hours in a club, with no one else around, practising for hours. My success was that 3 years later, I was in djing in one of the best known clubs in the country, with my own residency in another club, and regularly playing tunes next to some of the OG legendary DJs from the dance scene.

@Angela Walker thanks for the positive vibes. So, have you had any time to think about your answer ?. I've heard parts of your story, and to be honest, they blew me away, so looking forward to hearing a little bit more. Hope that you've had a great week, we've missed you 🙏
Good morning Firestarters ❤️‍🔥
It's nearly the weekend. 👏 My team's out of the World Cup, and so I've got nothing left to distract me, just more time and more focus. My intention is to grow Ignited & Inspired to at least 50 members by the end of the year, and that starts today. Not with a pitch. Not with a plan, but just a spark to succeed. First target: 25 by the end of August. Why? Because that's when the flickers become a flame. If you're already here, you're already one of us. But if you know someone who's still standing on the outside, still telling themselves it's not the right time, why not drag them in and help them to torch the excuses? Remember.. We're here to be infernos. 🔥 Drop a comment below — what are you working on right now? What's the thing you're trying to build, fix, or finally get moving on? Let's see the sparks in this room before we go looking for more of it.
Good morning Firestarters ❤️‍🔥

Firstly, @Bruno Militz congrats on the new role, and is great to hear that you have settled in your new home. It must be super exciting to start a whole new chapter. Also, these are great targets to have and it sounds like we are both cchasing similar targets, so please don't hesitate to reach out and let me know if there's anything that I, or the community, can do to help. You've got this fella.. 🫵🏻💪

That sounds like a great idea @Sarah Hyland and definitely one that I should really start thinking about. 🤔 One lead magnet that used to be a great source of engagement for my marketing clients were quizzes, as they let you show your expertise and collect info all at the same time. What have you chosen or are you undecided ?
