One Question. What would you ask?
Hey, quick one. What's the one thing you'd ask if you had an experienced AI consultant for 30 minutes? Pricing your first offer? Which niche? What to say when they go quiet? Whether your build is even worth charging for? Whatever it is, it's probably been sitting there a while. Now that question has an answer, but not a generic one. The right answer depends on what you're selling, who you're selling it to, and where you actually are right now. So here's how your call will go. We look at the exact situation you're in, work out what's actually standing between you and your next client, and map out the steps to get there. You leave with a clear roadmap. Then it's just a question of how fast you want to walk it, and whether you want to do that on your own or with people who've walked it a few hundred times. [BOOK MY CONSULTING CALL!] fyi - this is what we have done over the last few years for our members. - $18M+ in client generated revenue. - $27k+ average revenue per client. - 67 days average to first client. Jamie.
Learnings From An Internal Sales Training (AAA Accelerator)
You can know how to build AI systems and still struggle to sell them. Inside our paid community, I ran a live sales workshop where AI agency owners brought their real questions and we practised their sales conversations. Here are eight lessons you can use on your next call. Q: How do I get more people to book a meeting? Find a reason for the meeting before you offer it. “We should have a chat about AI” is vague. “You mentioned your team spends hours on manual admin. Would it be worth 30 minutes to look at where you could reduce that?” gives them a clear reason to say yes. Q: When should I pitch my solution? Only sell the next step. At an event, earn the first meeting. On that meeting, establish whether a diagnostic makes sense. Use the diagnostic findings to recommend the build. But pitching a custom CRM before you understand the business skips the work that makes your solution actually worth paying for. Q: How do I follow a structure without sounding scripted? Learn what each stage needs to achieve. Build rapport. Understand the need. Check whether it matters enough to act. Agree the next step. Practise that until you can listen to the person instead of trying to remember your next line. Q: Why do my conversations feel like interviews? You may be asking questions without responding to the answers. Use ARQ: acknowledge, relate, question. Acknowledge what they said. Relate where you can honestly. Then ask your next question. And ask one question at a time. Let them answer. Q: Should I always dig into pain? Listen to what they lead with. If they say, “I want to grow to £10 million,” explore that goal first. If they say, “My admin costs are getting out of hand,” explore that problem first. Their first answer gives you a starting point. Use it. Q: What if the client doesn’t understand the technology? Use their language. A dentist may care far more about missed appointments than the difference between a checklist and a workflow. Connect your work to the outcome they care about. Explain the technical details when those details help them make a decision.
Learnings From An Internal Sales Training (AAA Accelerator)
So you want to be a high achiever? (real talk)
You want a successful AI agency. Clients who pay you well. Work you’re proud of. The freedom to choose how you live. How long have you wanted that? And how much has actually changed in that time? You’ve watched the videos. Saved the posts. Tried the tools. But you’re still unsure what to sell, who to sell it to, or how to get someone to pay you. Another month passes. You’re still saying, “I’m working on it.” Let's get real for a second. Last week, how many business owners did you speak to? How many follow-ups did you send? Did you put a single offer in front of anyone who could buy it? Or did you spend the week preparing? Getting everything "perfect" before going to market. Changing your website. Testing a new tool. Rewriting your offer for the 5th time. Each one gives you something to do without risking a no. But a business owner can’t buy an offer you never show them. And you can’t learn why your pitch falls flat if you never make it. At some point, you have to put your work in front of someone who can say yes or no. You also need to look at how you’ve set up the environment around you. Who reviews your sales calls? Who tells you when your offer is unclear? Who notices when you spend another week planning instead of speaking to buyers? If the answer is nobody, you’re left to spot every mistake yourself. That can keep you stuck for far longer than you need to be. Find people who will look at your work and tell you the truth. People who can show you where you lost the buyer. Help you fix a weak proposal. Ask if you sent the follow-up you said you would. Then give yourself time to act on that feedback. Put your phone away. Pick the task you’ve been avoiding. Finish it. You don’t need to figure out your whole future today. You do need to stop letting the same week repeat. How much longer do you want to keep saying, “I’m working on it”? If you’re ready to take the next step, comment "ACTION" below. I’ll DM you and set you up with someone on my team to talk through where you’re stuck and whether we can help
Mid-Week Mindset: How To Maintain Progress Through Adversity
Three minutes of bad news in the morning can drag down your whole day. Researcher Michelle Gielan and entrepreneur Arianna Huffington tested this. They found people who read three minutes of negative news at the start of the day were 27% more likely to call their entire day bad by the time they clocked off. Three minutes did that. Now think about what you've been feeding your head lately. The deal that died. The client who went quiet. Everyone online saying things are getting harder. Your brain gives bad news more weight than good. Give it enough negative and it quietly decides your effort doesn't change much. So you push a little less. Pitch a little less confidently. And you get a little less back in return. That costs you real money. Gielan studied over 25,000 professionals. She found the ones who believed their actions mattered were 40% more likely to get promoted within a year, and five times less likely to burn out. Other research found optimists outsell pessimists by 37%. Important note: you can't fake your way there. Forced positivity actually makes burnout worse. What actually works is simpler. When something goes wrong in your day, just don't stop your sentence at the bad part. You lost the deal. OK. What are you fixing on the next call? Your outreach isn't working. OK. So what are you changing in your messaging? You had to start over on a project. OK. What will you do differently this time around? Bank managers at UBS who learned to treat stress as fuel using this technique had 23% fewer stress symptoms during a crisis, and performed better. Same pressure. Different perception. So comment below one thing that went right today. Your brain builds a story from whatever you notice. So give it better material. Some weeks are just hard. You don't have to pretend otherwise. But what you do next still counts. So, what's gone right for you so far this week? Comment one thing below (doesn't matter how small)👇
