Tawus is the Arabic word for peacock. The name came from the lace motifs at the top of the yoke, which reminded me of a peacock tail. It is a sport weight lace cardigan using a top-down and seamless construction, which means you can try it on as you go. 😍 The upper yoke has more elaborate lacework that asks for your full attention, and there will be moments where it feels tricky. But it does click into place, and from there the lower body changes into a much simpler lace. I love them both. I must admit I enjoy knitting more on the garish one. There’s some about the colour changing effects of Noro that I can’t get enough of. Glad I recently bought a whole bunch marked down by about 65%. I’m also not waiting for clue 6 for starting the sleeves on the cohesive one as I don’t have enough to do colour work on the full sleeve so I’m knitting lots of plain Cb. But I do have enough yarn to do all sleeves colour work on the left one.

Finished clue 4 on both my pullover and the cardigan. Love them both, completely different due to the number of colours I’ve used.

Changed my colour combination finally but will still be fading colour A to pink as I go. I don’t know why I ended the colourwork on clue 1 the way I did… too anxious to keep going I guess, but it already measures 6 inches so it will be fine. Do I have to split at the length for my size or when I finish chart 3?
