Daily Page: Day 17
𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 ✨ 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁: 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁. A proper loose scribble, eyes half shut, ten seconds. Then turn the page round until you can see something in it. A face, a hill, a bird, a boot. Go over those lines a bit darker so everybody else can see it too. A blank page that's already covered in scribble is less intimidating. And it can really help your creative mind to flow and get unstuck. A great suggestion from one of our members here in the group, @Declan Gleeson You can see his post about it here . ✨ 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁? Do three little ones in a row and see what turns up in each. 👉 Also in the classroom here: ❤️ 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 👇 The whole page, a tiny piece of it, or just type "done" if you're not ready to show it ❤️ ❤️ All count. Whenever you get to it, morning, teatime or midnight.

I used to do something similar with my 2 children. One of us would make a scribble on the page. Then we would take turns adding to it. Interesting to see where their mind would go. Once in awhile I will do this on my own. Not as much fun though. This is a great suggestion @Declan Gleeson !

We all need that reminder every so often. Caught up in the updraft of today’s way of life, it’s so easy to put our happiness above all else.
A small favour to ask 🙏
Sketchbook Magic finished on Monday and I have loved every minute of it 💛 Before I start planning what comes next, I would really like to know what the week was actually like from your side. Two questions, and one line each is honestly plenty. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 👉 𝟭. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗘𝗡𝗝𝗢𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧? A particular day, a prompt, something you made, something somebody else posted. Anything at all. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 👉 𝟮. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗜𝗧 𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗘𝗥 ? Anything that got in your way, anything you wanted more of, anything that did not quite work for you. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ❤️ 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞n𝙜𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 👇 𝗣𝗼𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄. A sentence is plenty, and if you only want to answer one of the two, that is absolutely fine. Thank you for turning up this week. Whether you did all seven days or one 💛 🔥🔥🔥 𝗣𝗦 — bits of what you write here might end up on a post or a page somewhere, to help somebody who is nervous about joining in, and 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗕𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗡𝗬𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗦. If you would rather I did not use yours, just pop "𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀" at the end of your comment and I absolutely won't ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Please still comment either way, as I would love to hear your feedback ❤️ Thank you. 🙏 x -------------------------- @Tori Reid @Debbie Davies @Lisa Williams @Kimberly Puddester @Debbie Channing @Vickie Ransbury @Mary Ellison @Sammy Harris @Lisa Jackson @Rebecca Schraeder @Janice Coppola @Valerie Simoen @Nikki Farquhar

I really appreciated the prompts. I did get way behind. I thought I was going to have a week to myself but my grandbabies’ daddy decided to pick up extra shifts on his days off. I’m his backup when he isn’t home.
Fun 😍 - 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁? ✨
It is almost never what we ended up doing, and that is half the fun of it. 👇 One line below. 👇 Or share a gif for fun. [Here's mine - Can you guess 🤣]

I wanted to be a doctor and work in a hospital. By high school my parents convinced me I wasn’t smart enough & an easier course would be more suitable.

This piece reminds me of the years I spent living by the lake. I loved going out alone in my canoe. Listening to the birds, the splash of water lapping against the rocks, the sploosh of a fish jumping up to snack on an insect, while I floated around the lake.

I have been retired for a number of years. I fill my time crocheting, a caregiver to a good friend, & spending quality time with my grandbabes.
