qld itch
hi everyone. been distant. sorry. been dealing with the tail end of Queensland itch, which is where the horses have a reaction to biting insects. some get it others dont. i have 3 out of my 11 that rip their skin off and the manes n tails to pieces. its autumn here now but we still have biting insects.

Aussie brumbies
Ho everyone. I'm a brumby advocate n sanctuary of 9 brumbies aussie. 1 guy fawkes n 8 Kosciuszko fellows. Of 2 mares, 5 fillies n 2 geldings n 2 domestics, both 20 n 10 yrs.

my other struggle is riding my 10 yr old gelding, yes i mouthed and broke him and have ridden him many times but he is still green and scares me a bit. whereas my paly mare i can do anything on, im the only one thats done anything my 2 domestics over the last 20 yrs. yes i have a diploma in equine management and was a vet nurse and human nurse. but since retiring i do struggle.
