I just received two of these styrofoam wig stands to use for displaying hats and scarves. I am considering getting flat stands with a sort of peg in the center so they are more stable and less likely to tip over. But what ideas do you have that would disguise the white styrofoam? I could paint it, but then it’ll just look like painted styrofoam. 🫤 I was thinking maybe black nylon hose, like pantyhose or tights? Put it over the form and glue it to the bottom. What other ways would you disguise the white styrofoam? (Hat in pic was posted previously).

Yay! I gotta decent hat this time. The machine did get mad at me though when a knot tried to sneak through. Won't let that happen again. The poor dogs though. They really aren't fans of all the whirring of the knitting machine or the spinning of the yarn winders. I hope they get used to it.
