Earlier this month I posted the anatomy of a county surplus list. Regardless of how the county formats it — PDF, spreadsheet, or a scanned table — these are the seven you are looking for: That post lives here: https://www.skool.com/surplusfundssecrets/the-7-fields-that-matter-on-any-list Today I am not re-teaching it. I am handing you the checklist itself — one image, all seven fields, ready to keep next to your screen: Case or parcel number — your key to the court file Owner / defendant name — watch for co-owners and estates Property address — helps confirm you have the right person Sale date — starts most deadline clocks (confirm in the case file) Surplus amount — unverified until you read the case Status — some lists show funds already claimed Claim deadline — the field that ends the conversation if you miss it. Read it from the case file, and let counsel confirm it again before anything gets filed How to use it: pull any county list, run it against the seven rows, and write down what is missing. A list missing the amount or the deadline is not useless — it is homework. The case file has both. Then bring the gap back here. Which of the seven fields is your county's list missing? Post the field — and the county — in the comments. Dates and counts only, no dollar amounts. That gap list is how you learn where the real work starts. And the standing division of labor applies: operators find the money, verify the file, and locate the person; licensed counsel files the claim.
