Slow progress and NO progress are not the same thing.
But most people treat them like they are. No progress only compounds to nothing. But slow progress can compound into a future fortune. Every giant tree starts slowly from one tiny seed. But if you don't sow and you leave that same powerful seed on the shelf it grows into nothing at all. Apparently Albert Einstein said, “The most powerful force in the Universe is compound interest.” Small numbers that keep growing are the most powerful thing in business. A single dollar becomes two, then twenty, then fifty and a hundred dollars. A hundred becomes two hundred. Two hundred becomes five hundred. Five hundred becomes two thousand. And two thousand becomes the month that changes everything. But only if you don't quit when it looks s-l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-w. Quitting *guarantees* no progress! I heard this today from @Mark Douglas : "The beginning was ugly. The middle was quiet. But the end looked like cheating!" Trust me it gets easier, and it gets faster. The people who built something real? Almost every single one of them *almost* quit at the same exact point... Right before it started working. When I first started on Skool my affiliate earnings (passive income) was only $4 in the first month. But it was $4 that hapened without me doing any work. And it keeps coming in month after month without me doing any work while I'm out enjoying my life. Now that $4 (and others like it) has compounded into over $100. That's still small for some. But I can see the day when it compounds into more than a $1,000 - and beyond. TURN THE TAP ON. Don't worry about how small the first drops are ... it can soon become a more powerful stream of income than you ever imagined. If you haven't started yet, here's the first step #Make Your First Skool Dollar $

This is true. It takes ten years to be an overnight success and giving up too soon is the mistake of most people
Question that I’m hoping you might know the answer to…
I have a bit of a technical question that I’d really appreciate your advice on please 🙏 I want to use an event as a lead magnet, inviting people to a free workshop, through facebook, email or other methods, in the hope they find it useful and want to sign up/pay to join my community. They will need to give me their email address in order to log on at the allotted time. My community is paid with a free 7 day trial. I would prefer to use a zoom link instead of making it a Skool call. If I set this up and invite them to that specific event, using the Invite tab on my Settings page, it says “These invite methods will grant instant access without purchasing or requesting membership.” So my question is: 1) Is it possible to use a Skool event in a paid community as a lead magnet? 2) Will I inadvertently give them access to everything? 3) If I make a zoom link, do I even need to get involved in Skool at all? Hope you more experienced Skoolers can help. Thank you 🙏

@Stephanie Kara thank you yes I think that’s what I’ll have to do and just do it off skool entirely. ✅ Thanks for responding!

@Shaz Jones hey! Hope you had a nice time and yes it’s too late for your advice but I appreciated @Stephanie Kara chipping in at the time
Who do you talk to at Events?
Whether it's a Networking and Business event or church or a local soccer match, or even a Skool community, how do you decide who to chat to? Do you just gravitate to the people you already know or are you strategic about who gets your time? I just listened to a great presentation from @Danielle Drew in another community and she answered a question about events with a great strategy to multiply your impact and do more with less: 1. Talk to the host/event organiser - they probably know more people there than anyone else so they're more likely to connect you to others. If you want to be their next speaker ask something specific like "How do you source speakers?" If you are a speaker, let them know you can stretch out time or cut things short if something happens so they know you're easy to work with and you've got their back. 2. Talk to the speaker - ask them where else you can hear them or how they get speaking gigs. Again, they might be able to open doors for you to get in front of larger audiences 3. Talk to someone with a camera - especially if you're the speaker - whether they have a professional photo/video person or you just ask a random, make sure you have someone who can document you speaking - if it's on Skool maybe they can take a simple screen shot that you can share later on socials and in your community.

Number three is a great tip! Thanks @Shaz Jones
Taking it Away
I'm looking to simplify and experiment with a different model for Onliners. What is the one thing that if I took it away you would not find Onliners a valable experience anymore? It could be the free membership, the posts, the courses, the live calls, the community itself or a particular person - whatever it is - let me know!

@Shaz Jones I only check three of the communities that I’m in daily, and yours is one of them 😊
Skool Ad for Onliners
I just logged in to Facebook and saw the latest Skool Ad was for Onliners! And even more exciting, it was next to Andrew Kirby’s Synthesizer ad. We’re officially Facebook famous, people!! 😂 Anyone else seen it?

@Shaz Jones yes I did! I think it’s a great initiative - all the Skoolers are thrilled to bits and because we all comment and share, their reach goes through the roof. It’s a win-win!
