Another good session. It made me sweat today, so that was good. Maybe that muscle on my upper arm will continue to blossom.
Platform and Events Update
Hey all! There are a few updates that I wanted to inform everyone of: Accountability Calls: Are now only once a month on the first Thursday of each month. (THE TIME HAS CHANGED FROM 11am MDT to 10am MDT). This gives everyone time to really consider their goals and work on them before sharing updates and wins! PLEASE POST YOUR GOALS IN THE "ACCOUNTABILITY CORNER" at the beginning of each month! Engaging with the community is the best way to stay accountable and get support to reach your goals! If you would like to use the goal setting exercises and resources I created then you can find them attached below. Community Hangouts: are the third Thursday of each month and are an opportunity for members to simply hangout and get to know each other. Book Club: we tried a book club for a few months and the consensus was that it is not something most people in the community are interested in. As an alternative, I will post a reading list in the classroom. If you have book suggestions, please message me and I'll add your suggestion to the list! Workout Library: I am working on creating workout videos for the library that are separate from the live recorded sessions we do together. This allows members who would like to work out individually to avoid having to fast forward through our conversations and simply workout with the relevant information. If members wish to watch the live recordings then they can be found in the community tab under "Daily Workout Replays".

My sloth impression
Well I decided to have a go at getting down on the floor to see if I could do it in my new home. Getting down wasn't a problem, getting back up was a struggle as you can see. Something in my right knee caused shooting pain as soon as I put pressure on it. Tried a press up, but not really what I hoped for and the second one wasn't happening as I didn't want to hurt myself. I don't like being on the floor as it brings back emotions of when I first fell. The more I do it the less the feelings will affect me and panic less. Nice spaz on my right leg when I was safely back in my chair showing it's appreciation lol. Moral of the story, I may make some things look easy, other's I seriously struggle with and things I don't show. We are all different, our bodies work differently but we learn off each other in this Happy Healthy Awesome project and help each other. We are a community of imperfect, perfect individuals 🫠

OMG, to my mind, that’s gutsy. Or scary. Or both.

@Brittney Neunzig Did you used to drink? I haven’t drank in public in many decades, I guess partly because I was assigned a Company Car and if I was ever suspended, both my car and my job would disappear very quickly. I only ever drink at home - one cider of 10 oz split over an entire week.

@Brittney Neunzig That is very infrequent! My doctor once asked me if I smoked or drank. I said I’ve never smoked in my life, and I said, at that time, that I drank 5 times. He then said - 5 drinks per day?? I said 5 per month. I’ve slowed down since then.

If your feeling like your coming down with a bug, rub this on the soles of your feet at bedtime and put your socks back on before you zzzzzzz. You will sweat through the night and feel better in the morning! Old Welsh wives tale and it works 😊

My father who never drank alcohol, used to once every 5 years or so when he felt the beginnings of a cold, used to swallow 2 oz of Canadian Whiskey, jump into bed with lots of blankets on top and he’d sweat the cold out of him by morning. Wouldn’t work for me as I like my alcohol in small quantities on a more regular basis. Although not in the past 6 months.
