@Percival Peters - Good morning, Percival. I can answer these and I'll re-order them so they build on each other. 1) How many Alerts can you set, at the same time? Answer: This depends on your subscription with TradingView. The "Essential" plan allows you to have 20. The next level up, the "Plus" plan, allows you to have 100 at the same time. 2) How do the Alerts function? Do they send them to your email? Do they send them to your text messaging account? Does it make a sound when there’s an alert? Answer: Potentially ... all of the above. 🙂 This depends on how you choose to set them and ... these questions are specific to Alert "Notifications". So ... here's how you set those ... When you create a new Alert, you'll get this first screen print. Any setting you change in the bottom section, will become the default for the next Alert(s) you set. If you click on text next to "Notifications", you'll get this second screen print. Here's where you're setting the specifics of how you want to be notified. You can set everything, if you want. And again, whatever you set will become the default for future Alerts. 3) How reliable are the Alerts? Phone versus Desktop App. Answer: I can only explain what I've seen, so far. I use the Desktop App (almost exclusively) and ... under "normal" circumstances, my Alert-sound and notifications come up ... as soon as price touches my Alert-line. When traffic is extremely heavy though (a very high volume NY Session open), everything in TradingView delays a bit (seconds to minutes depending on traffic). I've also messed with the TradingView Mobile App. Tested a few Alerts while having my Desktop App open and ... the mobile Alerts ... for me ... were delayed bit (maybe 15 to 30 seconds). I can't tell you "why" though. That could easily be ... specific to me and my phone service. Final Note: You can drag-and-drop the Alert-Lines you create ... wherever you want. So ... if there's any concern about delays ... simply give yourself more buffer. As you do more and more Alerts, you'll dial-in ... what the right spacing is for you.
