My Big Foot | Teaser
My morning concept made in Runway with Kling 4.0, images, Midjourney, music, Eleven Labs. Three reference frames and one prompt. THE PROMPT 30-second comedic stop-motion short in the Laika style, handcrafted puppets with sculpted silicone faces, visible fabric texture, and tiny hand-painted details. Misty Pacific Northwest old-growth forest, soft muted green-grey palette, miniature-set depth of field. Fixed focal length, eye-level camera, no zoom. Match the supplied references: the father and son image for the two hikers, the Bigfoot image for Bigfoot, and the forest plate for the environment. Gentle whimsical sound: footsteps, forest ambience, a tiny bird chirp, soft comedic sound effects. No dialogue. 0:00-0:05 | The hike. Camera tracks backward in front of the father and son as they hike toward the camera along a muddy trail, keeping the same distance the whole time. The father leads with his flashlight on his belt, and the boy trots a few steps behind. Expression: father determined, jaw set, eyes on the trail; boy cheerful and a little tired, bouncing along. 0:05-0:08 | The bird. Cut to Bigfoot standing in a misty clearing, side-lit by soft light. A tiny bird, already in the frame on a far branch, flutters down, circles his head once, and lands on top. Expression: Bigfoot calm and heavy-lidded, then a slow, sweet, dopey smile spreading across his face. 0:08-0:10 | Father notices. Back to the father and son, same tracking distance. Expression: father still determined, then his eyebrows shoot up in surprise; boy still bouncing, unaware, then bumps into his dad’s pack. 0:10-0:12 | Bigfoot notices. Back to Bigfoot, the bird still on his head. Expression: sudden shock, eyes huge, mouth a small round O, the bird fluttering in alarm. 0:12-0:14 | Both frozen. Father and son, stopped dead. Expression: jaws dropped, eyes wide, the father’s flashlight swinging from his belt. 0:14-0:16 | Fear. Bigfoot flinches and hunches, huge hands raised. Expression: wide-eyed fear, trembling lower lip, a tiny squeak. Cut to the father pulling the boy behind him. Expression: father scared but protective, jaw tight; boy peeking out from behind his arm, eyes huge.

Dominus | Brand New Trailer
From an idea I had this morning of a futuristic Praetorian Guard. A dystopian Rome of the far flung future. Would you watch it? Part HBO's Rome, mix in a little Gladiator, with a nod to Gossip Goblin and Hellraiser for inspiration. Made with Kling 4.0 in Runway. I will be doing a lot of work with this platform.

AIFD now has a page for investors (and here's why that's big for you)
Quick one, but it's a big one. As of today, the AI Filmmakers Directory has a page built just for investors: https://aifilmmakersdirectory.com/pages/ai-film-investors Here's why I'm fired up about it. Until now, AIFD has been where producers, agencies and brands come to hire AI filmmakers. That's working. Jobs are coming in, members are getting booked, and one of our own just signed a studio deal off an intro that started right here. But hiring is only part of where the money is. Funds, angels, family offices, studios and streamers are putting serious money into AI film right now. I track it every week. And most of them have no idea where to find the creators and projects worth backing. So now we're showing them. What's on the page: Investor Watch, our weekly roundup of who's funding AI film. Public sources, every item linked. A free listing for investors, funds, studios and producers who want the right projects to find them. They can go public or stay anonymous. A first look at the AIFD IP Showcase (coming soon), where writers and IP owners will present their projects to producers and investors. What this means for you: Every investor, producer and business that lands on AIFD is one click from the search. Which means one click from your profile. The more of them we bring in, the more eyes on your work. That's the whole game. AIFD is becoming the place where the people with projects and the people with budgets actually meet. Now, the honest part. When those people search, Pro profiles show up first and show the most. If someone with a checkbook is scrolling, you want to be at the top, not on page 4. So here's what I'd do this week: 1. Get your profile "investor-ready." Real bio, your best reel, real credits. If it's half-empty, fix it now. 2. If you're not Pro yet, this is the moment. $150/year (or $24/month), right from your AIFD dashboard. 3. Own a script, a series, a world? Go to the page, fill out the form, and pick "IP owner / writer" to get on the IP Showcase waitlist early.
