So I'm confused about if I can draw from my soon to be ex now & wait to draw my Soc Security when I'm 67 ( my full retirement age) which will be in April 2027. His is more than mine will be. I want to hold out so I won't be penalized for making too much. I don't make alot now & could use the money but want to get the most out of my retirement

Hi I'm wondering if I should wait for my full retirement age which I found out is 67 not 66 which is my age now..I will be 67 in April 2027. My husband ( soon to be ex) is currently receiving benefits that he filed for last year & started receiving 2 weeks before he turned 65. Mine will be less than half of his. Should I wait till next year to file?
