Next tune with staple chords, improv limited to approaches to the third. First steps with hybrid picking.

This is an original arrangement by Nathan Corr of a famous hymn that you may recognize. I’ve been working on this in bits and pieces for about 3 months. To be honest, it is a bit out of my reach as an intermediate player, but I’m determined to eventually master this beast! This is my first attempt to put it all together in a recording. My goal here is to get it to the point where it can be published and shared (free) with accompanying sheet music and soundslice. Ultimately I would love to have about 10 pieces arranged and recorded. So it’s a stretch goal. Anyway, here it is so far… I feel that it’s about 70 percent there and will likely take another 3 months to master. Definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever attempted. Second part of my homework this week (from @Mentor Bob Kinney ): 3 chorus exercise of Summertime (head in, comp/improv, head out). I tried to replicate something similar to playing with a combo last weekend. After listening- I hear that the timing seems off - and the chord stabs are sloppy.
