Hi everyone, I’d love to learn from the other children’s book authors here. For those of you who are getting consistent book sales, what marketing strategies have actually worked for you? I’m particularly curious about what’s working beyond simply publishing the book and hoping readers find it. Are you focusing more on social media, school visits, email lists, Amazon ads, local events, partnerships, book clubs, or something completely different? I’ve had my own journey in children’s publishing, but I’m always interested in learning what is working for authors today, especially with how much the marketing landscape has changed. If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d love to hear: - What’s currently bringing you the most sales? - Which marketing approach surprised you with how well it worked? - What did you try that didn’t work? - And if you were starting again today, where would you put most of your effort I’m sure your experiences could help other authors here too. Thanks in advance for sharing!
