Why top real estate agents gladly pay TCs $350–$500 per deal (and why this is your biggest opportunity)
Hey everyone! 👋 I get asked a lot: "Why would a real estate agent hire a Transaction Coordinator instead of just doing the paperwork themselves?" To understand why this business works so well—and why agents are actively looking for TCs—you have to look at the math from an agent's perspective. The Math Behind Why Agents Need You If an agent's target income is $150,000/year, their time is worth roughly $75/hour. Yet on average, an agent spends 10 to 15 hours per transaction on administrative tasks: ❌ Tracking down missing signatures ❌ Scheduling inspectors, appraisers, and access ❌ Constant email tag with title companies and lenders ❌ Organizing compliance files for broker sign-off That means an agent wastes $750 to $1,100+ worth of their billable time on paperwork for every single deal. When they pay a TC $350 to $500 per closed deal, they aren't spending money—they are buying back 15 hours to go get another listing or close another buyer. It’s a win-win for both of you. Why You Don't Need a Real Estate License to Start A common worry I hear inside the community is: "Do I need a real estate license to earn this kind of money?" No. Transaction Coordinators handle the administrative, organizational, and compliance side of the transaction. You do not negotiate deals or draft contracts from scratch—you manage the process once the contract is signed. That means: ✅ You can work 100% remotely from home ✅ You earn $350–$500+ per closed file ✅ You build recurring income by partnering with 3–5 active agents ✅ You set your own schedule around your life Ready to turn this into your actual business? If you’ve been hanging out in the group, learning the basics, but haven't taken the leap into the official program yet—this is your sign. Inside the full course, we cover: 1. The Exact Process: Step-by-step file management from contract to close. 2. The Systems & Software: Templates, checklists, and tools to run files effortlessly. 3. Client Acquisition: How to pitch, land, and retain your first real estate agents.

Quiz: Is Transaction Coordination Right for You? Take the 2-Minute Assessment!
Welcome to the community! Before jumping into training , it helps to see if your natural strengths align with what real estate agents look for in a Transaction Coordinator (TC). You don’t need a real estate license in most states, and you don’t need prior experience to start learning. But you do need the right baseline traits. Take this quick 3-part assessment below, total up your checks, and comment your results below! Part 1: The Core Skill Checklist Count how many of these 10 statements sound like you: - [ ] 1. Organization: I naturally love checklists, calendar alerts, or color-coding. - [ ] 2. Prioritization: Given 5 tasks, I can sequence them logically without feeling overwhelmed. - [ ] 3. Detail-Oriented: I catch small typos, missing dates, or skipped signature fields that others miss. - [ ] 4. Quality First: I double-check my work before clicking "Send." - [ ] 5. Basic Tech: I'm comfortable using Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, or basic cloud software. - [ ] 6. Adaptability: I learn new web tools quickly when shown a short video tutorial. - [ ] 7. Communication: I prefer clear, professional email/text communication over cold calling people. - [ ] 8. Problem Solving: When something goes off track, I look for solutions instead of stressing. - [ ] 9. Independence: I work best when given a task list and the freedom to manage my own time. - [ ] 10. Support Mindset: I genuinely enjoy helping people succeed behind the scenes. Part 2: Score Your Results Add up your total checks from Part 1: - 8–10 Checks = Prime Candidate - You already have the exact personality traits and habits top real estate agents are looking for. You just need to learn the paperwork workflow and how to land clients! - 5–7 Checks = Great Potential - You have a solid foundation! With a clear step-by-step system and a bit of practice, you can easily build confidence in contract management. - 0–4 Checks = Might Need a Different Path - TC work relies heavily on detail management, deadlines, and independent organization. If you dislike forms, calendars, and routines, another remote route might fit better.

Why I Started Cornerstone
Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to share a little more about me and why I started Cornerstone Transaction Services. Cornerstone started from a simple desire: I wanted to help people. I know what it feels like to wonder what is next, to want more flexibility, and to look for an opportunity that could give you a different direction. I also know that sometimes the hardest part is simply figuring out where to start. As I learned more about Transaction Coordination, I saw an opportunity to take a skill that is valuable in the real estate industry and teach it to others in a practical, understandable way. That is really where Cornerstone came from. My goal isn't just to give you a bunch of information and send you on your way. I want this community to be a place where you can learn, ask questions, build confidence, encourage one another, and discover what you are capable of. I also believe that having the right support can make a huge difference when you're learning something new. You don't have to know everything when you start. That's what learning is for! I'm excited about what Cornerstone can become, but even more than that, I'm excited about the people who will be part of it. So now I want to hear from YOU! Introduce yourself below and tell us a little about who you are, where you're from, what brought you to Cornerstone, and what you're hoping to accomplish. Maybe share one thing you're excited about learning or one goal you have for yourself. Let's get to know each other and build this community together!
