September - Influence Without Control
"Can I get the result I need without personally controlling how everyone gets there?" — or said differently, "Can I lead people without controlling them?" This is the question we are going to aim to answer this month. Welcome to September. Here are the 4 main themes we are going to use to explore this question: Week 1 Identify where you're the bottleneck. Week 2 Delegate ownership, not just tasks. Week 3 Let go without disappearing. Week 4 Develop someone else's capability. Important note* This month can vary widely based on your personal and professional situation. if some of these areas don't immediately seem to apply to the bigger areas of your life i.e. your work/position, don't be afraid to look into the small areas around your life i.e. the little interactions that are few and far between.

August Recap/Reflection
Let's take a good look at how we did this month. 1. First we identified a major goal we wanted to accomplish by the end of the month. 2. Then we broke it down to 3 action steps that we could take over the next 3 weeks. 3. Each week we tackled 1 main item on our list and reflected on our progress. So, overall. How accurate was your initial timeframe? & Did this meet your expectations? What were recuring patterns that you noticed? How did your expectations change as you progressed your goal? Could you have chosen a bigger goal to complete withing the timeframe? How will you celebrate your success? What is your biggest learning lesson from this exercise?

July Reflection #4
Wednesday Reflection: Listening is Measured in Conversations Keep your answers brief, one-word answers if possible. Did you follow through? If Yes: Step outside of yourself and consider the other person. How did showing curiosity effect the other person? How did showing curiosity effect the conversation? If No: Look inside of yourself. Why not? What would make this easier to follow through next time? What is your biggest takeaway?

@Elle Sabrine that's a powerful reflection. They picked up where you left off making it easier the second time around.
August Reflection #4
Wednesday Reflection: The Third Action Have you started working on your final task? If Yes: What did you learn from that past two weeks that helped you? Has your time management changed since starting this August challenge? if so, how? If No: What is your biggest challenge in taking that first step? What has stopped you? What do you need to let go of in order to move forward?

@Mark Jimenez Feelings have a way of making themselves very big, often bigger than the work itself. Remember that rest is part of the work.
August Challenge #4
Monday Challenge: The Final Action You know the drill. it's time to take tackle that final action step. Comment below: ○ Where do you stand on your original estimated timeframe? behind/on track/ahead? ○ How are you going to hold yourself accountable? If you're behind your initial timeframe. It's okay. Life throws wrenches into plans all the time, it's not about being perfect and never missing a day. It's about acknowledging where you're at and moving forward from there. So, If you're behind it's okay. See it, Accept it, Keep Moving. If you haven't completed the August Challenge/Reflection #3 Challenge #3 https://www.skool.com/jpmc/august-challenge-3?p=3a1ddb03 Reflection #3 https://www.skool.com/jpmc/august-reflection-3?p=76800dcc Remember, it's about progress, not perfection.
