When the Roots are deep....
@Gary Lang's post reminding us to Slow Down inspired me to share an original short poem I wrote a little while back. Our experiences, our past, and our traumas do not have to own our life. There are many seasons of my life I was shook to the core. When we look at our lives as a whole, many of yesterday's troubles soon seem to appear insignificant. And yet somehow, each chapter, each season, and every lesson brought us to where we are today.... And even if we're not where we would like to be in this chapter, if we look carefully, we can begin to notice how every moment gives us opportunity for growth, transformation, and expansion. When the roots are deep, there is no need to fear the wind: Life is a series of moments Each expansion and contraction Each blessing Each hardship Are opportunities to grow stronger, wiser, and become more resilient There may be moments that bring you to your knees Look up, because you’re never alone And like the sturdy roots of a tree, we can remain grounded, yet flexible with the changing seasons and elements. Keep going! 😉 Yes You Can, Dana✨🤍🌹🖤✨

Enjoy your day
Notice what happens inside you the next time someone says, "Enjoy your day." If your mind answers with "I'll try" or "once this meeting is over," you've just discovered one of the quiet agreements you've made with yourself: that peace must be earned, and joy comes only after the work is done. Many of us carried this belief into our careers, treating contentment as a reward for productivity rather than a state we're allowed to live in right now. But the checklist never truly ends, and if your peace waits for it, your peace will wait forever. The invitation is to reverse the order. Begin with gratitude for what is already here: your breath, your health, the people who matter to you, the simple gift of another day. Let that gratitude become the foundation you work from, not the prize you work toward. When you do, the day doesn't need to be perfect to be good. You bring the good with you. So pause, breathe, and receive it this time: enjoy your day. Truly 💚🌎💙😉 -The Corporate Alchemist

Vedic Wisdom Bites 🐒: Understanding the Absolute: Beyond the Limits of the Mind
In order to discuss the Absolute, you need a pure intellect. No amount of darkness will give you light. If you can’t recognise gold, you need to inform yourself about it from an expert.
If you do not, you will get cheated. Same thing to understand the absolute. You cannot speculate who He is, what His form, qualities and pastimes are. “‘The sages who have realized the Absolute Truth are steeped in the samādhi of deep meditation. In that state, they deliberate upon the transcendental qualities of the Supreme Lord. With their own pure intellect they directly perceive the mystical and absolute spiritual potencies of the Lord that are non-different from the Lord Himself. These potencies arrange and initiate the entire spectrum of universal causes and effects, the control of the jīva souls, the natural phenomena, time, and activities.’ This gives us an important principle: spiritual truth is not created by our speculation; it is revealed to purified consciousness. The more the intellect becomes free from selfish desire, conditioning, and false identification, the more capable it becomes of receiving and recognizing spiritual reality. This is why the Vedic tradition places such importance on scripture, realized teachers, and spiritual practice. We do not have to understand everything immediately. We begin by listening, questioning sincerely, practicing, and gradually purifying our consciousness. The Absolute is unlimited, while we are limited. Therefore, humility is not weakness—it is intelligence. We recognise the limits of our present understanding while remaining open to a reality greater than what our mind can presently conceive. We cannot manufacture the Truth. We can prepare ourselves to perceive it. And when the intellect becomes purified, what once seemed impossible or contradictory can gradually reveal itself as a deeper harmony within the Supreme.

“ What is one belief or assumption I hold about the Supreme that I have never really questioned or explored—and what could I do today to understand it more deeply?”

@Dhira Lalita The Absoulute is not some thing the mind can take hold of. The mind I think eventually bows down to, except with great respect.🙏🫂🫶💜
