Workout
Today I have the opportunity to go to our local ymca and get a workout in. I gave up driving a few years ago due to an issue with my leg. I wasn’t able to lift it or really move it from the ankle which severely limited my driving. I almost hit a brick building so I made it home from that excursion and handed my wife the keys and said that I was done. Honestly it was hard but the safety of others was what I was concerned about. It hasn’t been too much of a problem as we have a pretty good public transportation system here and it operates almost like uber so I can usually find a way if I want to. Today I have a friend who is driving me to and from the Y and we do this on a weekly basis and just laugh all the time that we are together. Not at anyone in particular but just our reaction to things that happen to us. It does my soul some good just to laugh often and communicate with another person that has almost the same energy. Anyway, how has your week been? I’m willing to say that mine has had its moments but it’s how we deal w those that forges us to have our character molded. I want you to consider the word forges as it comes with a lot of heat. There is a place in scripture that talks about how we perfect our lives and guess what? It uses the word picture of an oven. You have to burn out the dross from gold in order to purify it. How much heat is needed you might ask? 1000 degrees Celsius. Now that is hot 🔥🔥. It takes a little heat to mold our characters into what we need to be. Be patient with the process. Blessings
