I’m Kathy, based in rural NSW, and I seem to have collected quite a few interests and practices over the years. My background includes herbal medicine, remedial massage, women’s wellbeing, coaching and energy-based practices, but I’m just as interested in everyday things like gardening, food, movement, creativity and how we stay strong, grounded and engaged as we get older. I’m endlessly curious and very good at disappearing down rabbit holes when something catches my interest, so there is usually a course, book, garden project or new idea on the go. Living rurally keeps me connected to the seasons, nature and a slower rhythm of life, which I value more and more. I’ve practised Qigong before and am now picking it up again, looking forward to reconnecting with the movement, breath, balance and sense of flow. This is a photo from my verandah - looking out at this view each day is my mood booster.
