#poshbookingchallenge Day 5: Steal It
Day 5. Today you are going to steal like an artist. Find a design you admire. A setup that stopped you mid scroll, something from a magazine, a venue photo, another draper's portfolio. Screenshot it. Credit the original creator in your post. Then rebuild it in your own colors with your own inventory. Post both. The reference and your version, side by side. Tell us what you kept, what you changed, and what you could not crack. That last part is the lesson. Not the photo. The gap between what you saw and what your hands could execute today is exactly where your next six months of growth lives. Post it. Leave a real comment on three other members' posts. Title it #poshbookingchallenge Day 5 so I can find you. Day 5, tribe. Let's go!

#poshbookingchallenge Day 3: Count What You Own
Day 3. Today we are taking inventory. Get your kit out. Lay it all down or photograph it where it lives. Count it. Real numbers. How many panels. How many uprights. How many bases. Your steamer, your clamps, your stands. What is your widest possible span right now, today, with what you actually own. Post the photo and put the numbers in the caption. I want you to do this because most of you are turning down work you could actually do. A client sends an inquiry and in your head you go straight to I do not have enough for that. But you never actually counted. You have a number from a year ago and you have bought things since then. I have watched drapers come to workshops convinced they needed to spend two thousand dollars before they could book a premium job. Then we lay everything out and they already had most of it sitting in a bin. Count it today. Then come back on Day 8 when we price it. Post the count. Leave a real comment on three other members' posts. Title it #poshbookingchallenge Day 3 so I can find you. Day 3, tribe. Let's go!

#poshbookingchallenge Day 2: The Before Shot
Day 2. Today you are going to find something you would rather forget. Your earliest draping photo. The first one you ever took or close to it. The one buried in your camera roll from three years ago that makes you cringe every time you accidentally scroll past it. Find it. Post it. Just the photo today. No setup beside it yet. We come back to this on Day 21. I am asking you to post it because this month is about growth and you cannot measure growth without the starting line. And because half of you have been in this industry long enough that your Day 1 photo would give a brand new draper permission to start. They need to see that you were not born knowing how to do this. Neither was I. Post the before. Tell us when it was and what job it was for if you remember. Then go leave a real comment on three other members' posts. Title it #poshbookingchallenge Day 2 so I can find you. Day 2, tribe. Let's go!

This was June of 2018. I new i wanted something to make the cake table pop, but didn't have a clue how to do it. So and easier, poster board and a piece of satin fabric. Man... I've grown. ##poshbookingchallenge Day2

@Shonna Estwick looks way better than mine did. Lol
#poshbookingchallenge Day 4: One Panel
Day 4. The lowest bar of the month. No excuses today. One panel. Hang it, dress it, photograph it. That is the whole assignment. Not a full setup. Not a backdrop. One panel. If you own one panel and a phone you can do today's post. I put this day here on purpose. Because every challenge has a day where people start telling themselves they are too busy, too far behind, too underprepared to post something worth seeing. Today is that day and I am cutting that story off before it starts. One panel. Dressed properly. Level. Clean break at the bottom. Would you be proud if a client walked in right now and that was all they saw. Post it. Leave a real comment on three other members' posts. Title it #poshbookingchallenge Day 4 so I can find you. Day 4, tribe. Let's go!

#poshbookingchallenge Day 1: Your Last Win
Day 1. We are starting where we should have started a long time ago. Tell me about a win. Not your biggest win ever. Not your most polished setup. A win from the last ninety days. A booking you closed, a setup you are proud of, a client who said exactly what you needed to hear, a first time anything. Big or small, it counts. Post the photo. Write the win in the caption. That is it. Here is why we are starting here and not with a technique or a setup prompt. Most of you are sitting on evidence that you are better than you think you are and you never look at it. You finish a job, move on to the next problem, and the win disappears. You never stack it. You never let yourself feel it. And then when a client pushes back on your price or you are deciding whether to bid on a bigger job, you have nothing to stand on because you never built the foundation. This month is about bookings. And bookings start with confidence. And confidence starts with knowing what you have already done. Post your win. Then go leave a real comment on three other members' posts today. Not a like. Something they can actually use. How entries work. One entry for posting. One entry for commenting on three members. Three bonus entries if this post is a booking or a win -- put BOOKED in your title. Title it #poshbookingchallenge Day 1 so I can find you. Day 1, tribe. Let's go!

My win was setting up for the park district for a GIRLS GLOW UP DAY. They wanted to teach young girls about being responsible and etiquette and wanted the look to match. So I draped off part of the hallway and dressed 4 tables. Crazy how the chairs they adjust had matched the drapery. But they loved it and booked me for next year as well.
