But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 3:18 This is a very important and interesting verse because it wraps up what the Apostle Paul just talked about regarding the law of Moses. Starting at verse 15 it says, "But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." We see the contrast between the old covenant and the new covenant, between the law of Moses and the law of Jesus. The law of Moses is behavior-based. The law of Jesus is to believe and love others. We see that in 1 John 3:23. It's time we wake up, start reading the Bible, start discerning, and rightfully dividing the Bible. There is so much there that we need to discover. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search out a matter (Proverbs 25:2). Keep searching, be a Berean. Keep digging into the Word. Go and prove yourself a king.
