I’m watching films with the mindset of an actor and thinking of how I could do it
💬 Think Thursday: Elizabeth Olsen on Auditioning Quote (Feb 19th)
Today on Think Thursday: 1️⃣ WATCH the attached video 2️⃣ COMMENT below your reaction to what she's saying & how it's resonating with you

What resonated with me from this interview is that how she expresses not to worry about what you can’t control but rather focus on what you can control, which is you yourself and knowing your stuff. This resonates with me because for a while I was concede about the things that I can’t control and how people would react, but now I am aware that those are things that I can’t control and that no matter what I’m going to focus on what I can control

See image below for details. MONOLOGUE They called me again. I know you said they wouldn’t, but they did. They didn’t even push. They just asked me to walk through it one more time. And I could tell—they know something’s off. I’m not good at this. I’m not built to lie under pressure. I can hear it in my own voice when I’m stretching the truth. I keep thinking about what happens if they decide I did this on purpose. Not “I was scared,” not “I didn’t know what to say.”Just—I lied. I’m already nervous about my life. About money. About jobs. About not screwing things up before I even get started. And now this is sitting on top of everything. I did what you asked because I trusted you. Because you said it would be fine. But it’s not fine. I’m not sleeping. Every time my phone rings, my stomach drops. So if they call again, I’m telling them what actually happened. I can’t keep holding this for you. I need you to understand that.
