How should I measure FTP?
I have Magene PES515, which is one of the cheapest power meter. Today I rode over 38km in strong tailwind. That was so much fun! I averaged 37.6km/h and 213w. I had never recorded such a number. 213w is high for me. However, on my way back home, I had to run against the wind. I couldn't push hard as in tailwind. The power dropped so much. I realized FTP is environment-dependent. Then. How or where should I measure FTP? Do I need a smart trainer? And use it inside? I live in Tokyo, Japan. There isn't enough place I can run at high speed without traffic. [The blue man in the video is my friend. My bike is the MERIDA]

WHY DO WE RIDE
I often ask myself why I ride. There are many reasons that enter my mind, racing, going fast, staying in good health, and while all of that is awesome and worthy of chasing, then I see the sun coming up on a beautiful morning ride or watch two of my granddaughters riding together during a recent visit with each other and then I remind myself. Why do I ride - Because of the beautiful life that surrounds us all no matter where we are at in the world or the hardships we may be facing. Riding can help set us up in the right direction........Why do you ride??????????

When I was in elementary school, I really liked cars. Then I mastered how to use gears on my first bicycle (7 speed). It was so fun for carguy . So at first I liked to manipulate gears, but eventually I want to be faster. I realized I was little fast. I use an 11s 12-25 cassette now!

At least the stack of aerobars is nice.
👀 GCN Stack Height test
Cool to see the boys at GCN taking the time to test stack heights with an adjustable stem. What do you think about the conclusion?

Actually I hate an adjustable stem. In higher and lower, reach gets shorten. GCN should've used 3 types of stem (different angle and length) to keep the reach same.
