Emotional fatigue and productivity decay
Since losing my job in August, I've been having a rough time staying consistent with my productivity. I would have a huge spike from the adrenalin of the moment, and then I would crash. As time has gone on, the height of those spikes has dropped, but the frequency of the crashes has stayed the same. I'm reminded of the graph of a vibrating string. The position keeps coming back up, but the magnitude of the curve steadily decays without new energy being put into the system. Just hoping I'm able to make some real progress before it flattens out completely.

I love this graph, it illustrates your point beautifully. Would you like advice on this, or witnessing?
Power Hour is BACK!
Hello lab rats, I have been home from the hospital for a while now and my symptoms are actually getting better! I attribute this to time l, and much-needed rest. BUT I do miss y’all, and feel quite isolated. This is why I’m bringing pack Power Hour. Nothing else until this change settles in, but I want to open my digital space back up so I can see my lovey friends and get some stuff done with them—mostly doodles on my end. Doodles and rest. I can’t thank you all enough for your patience as I go through this. Y’all are amazing, and I will see you tomorrow at Power Hour as listed on the calendar!
Power Hour is BACK!
Still Alive!
Hello lab rats, I was hospitalized for a few days last week, but I’m back home and continuing to recover. I am gradually feeling better, and I hope to get back to Power Hour and other work in the next few weeks. How are y’all??
For the Forseeable Future
Hello friends, As you may know, I suffered an MS relapse recently. I was hoping I would be better now, but I have not recovered. I do not know how long it will take me to get back to a workable baseline. Mostly, right now, I sleep. As soon as I know anything about my condition and when it might improve, I will update this thread. Power Hour is canceled for the forseeable future, and I am sorry. I will miss you all. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. This is not how I prefer to work, but my body has made itself clear. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have about how we are going to go forward, and I will field them as efficiently as I can. Thank you for your patience. Love, Kristin
Short Recovery Break
Hi all, I’m having an MS relapse, so I’m going to get steroids each morning for the next three days, which should help a lot! I say this because I will very likely be hit-or-miss on Power Hours. When I hop on, I’ll post on here so y’all can join!
