As I continue building my portfolio and working toward becoming a brand partner... yup, speaking it into existence! 👀 I’m being more intentional about creating spec work around brands I’d actually love to work with. For this one, I studied Nothing Bundt Cakes’ (I LOVE their red velvet flavor) social media, found one of their recent posts and noticed what people were saying in the comments. That became the inspiration for my campaign concept. I’ll also be adding a new module sharing my brand outreach journey in real time, including contacts, what I’m sending, what works, what doesn’t, and what I learn along the way. And as I come across video creator and brand opportunities, I’ll be dropping those inside the module as well. The goal is bigger than creating great work. We want to get that work into the right rooms and build our own brands in the process. 🎬

Imagine creating something premium for a client or elevating your own brand in under an hour. Honestly, maybe less! I dropped one last week and boom someone asked if I offer these services! As some of you may know, our sweet dog Penny recently went through dog abuse suffering a major injury and surgery, so our family has been focused on helping her recover and adjusting to her aftercare. It’s been emotional and overwhelming at times, but Im praying she'll recovery. 🐾 I’ll be back soon with more gems, commercials, challenges, and creative energy for the community. ✨ Until then… hug your babies tight, enjoy your day, and Happy Mother’s Day again. Quick personal note today. This time last year, my husband and I @Tabora Laster were driving toward the Rocky Mountains to catch a train and completely missed our turn! We ended up driving straight through the mountains instead. It was honestly breathtaking … and also a little scary. Those “Falling Rocks” signs were no joke! ⚠️ Today we’re celebrating 21 years of marriage. And we’re both sick with colds. We’re tired. We don’t feel our best. But that’s real life, right? You take the detours. You keep going anyway. Just wanted to share that with my Digi Collective fam because I don’t believe in pretending life is polished all the time.
