Hey Team, New time from this week of 7PM AEST Wednesday. Be great to see as many of you as possible on the call. The more we have on the more areas we cover. As always please leave any questions or topic areas below for us to have a dive into on the call tomorrow. Greg
I won't be able to join live sadly, but am interested in thoughts on whether any solid food is recommended for IM race nutrition or whether liquids and gels are enough for the day (after a solid food brekky). Also, if anyone has any recommendations on nipping ball of foot pain (metatarsalgia I think?) in the bud early, that'd be very much appreciated!
Hey Team! Well done to all over the weekend and a special shout out to Doug Vargo completing Ironman Texas! Huge result. I'd like to open the batting for the call this week. Please drop in any questions below and we will cover off throughout the call. With a few big events starting to drop we can talk a bit through race prep for events but I would be keen to have a few more areas to explore. See you all Wednesday. Remember daylight savings is over so AEST is 6pm! See you there. Greg
Two Q's (if we have time for both!): 1. Is getting a proper bike fit worth it, or is a close enough approach fine? 2. Is it better to have a lot of cages for water on long rides/race day or is a camelbak a better option instead (Or it doesn't really matter and is just user preference?) Thanks!
Hey Team! For many winter is rolling in. It was cold, wet and windy in Husky on Friday but cleared nicely for the weekend, albiet no swimming at all down there. The arm warmers are returning for some. For others.....the heat prep pushes on with Ironman Vietnam coming in hot. Let's set up some topics to talk through this week. Nothing off limits.....drop the ideas and questions below. Greg
I won't be able to join for the call live this week, but interested in target body weight ranges for IM. Not looking to be an extremely lean machine, but currently at 88kg, 186cm, I think there's space to drop some weight through prep.
