What is the material? Any success?

@Michael Salazar it’s fascinating to me. Maybe one day. I have 4 vanilla tinctures going since you convinced me lol
Perfumery
So I have a completed formula, the smell itself is amazing but I'm having a problem with it not lasting over 4 hours. Has typical fixatives like ambroxans/ musk/ isoe/cedramber for example. Im figuring the problem is too much of a certain aroma chemical. How do you go about finding specifically which one (or multiple) it is

@Donovan Brady your formula is not short on any long lasting materials, but those are not all "fixatives" in the traditional sense, like benzyl benzoate or benzyl salicylate are. Other materials you have listed can be perceived as fixatives but they are just longer lasting with their evaportaion profiles. What carrier are you using? Did you let it sit? Just taking a look at it quickly on paper, I'd think there would be a projection issue as everything is heavy. When it is too heavy, it can be muted/flat, To answer your question directly about identifying, it is a process of elimination. I'd either remove one at a time or halve one at a time and see if there is any change.

@Donovan Brady hard to say without having smelled it. Just pick one and go. Things can still change significantly well past a week. Out of curiosity, why the 5% dpg?
Vanilla Tinctures
I thought I'd share this Excel sheet I put together that is focused on the different types of vanilla. I have gone down the vanilla rabbit hole now.

Tinctures
I’m looking for any reputable recommendations for tincture suppliers, especially vanilla.

Analysing Iterations
Find it fairly easy to differentiate between Two Materials or Completely different Blends… but Why is it so hard to Analyse between the 2 Iterations of the Same Blend with some differences… and to find which one is better… Nose gets Blurry & Blinded very fast Any Suggestions on how to Deal with this ?

An example would help. Also depends on how much your changing in the iteration. Even if you’re only changing one material, it still can be hard depending on how much your changing it by. Something I do when I’m not positive on what material is the one needing change, I’ll either half it or double it. This helps me identify if it’s that material or not and which direction it needs to go. Can fine tune it from there.
