Hi Ulrik, thanks again for organizing this session. I am currently working on an API monetization topic and would really value your perspective. We are a historical B2B SaaS provider serving professionals, mainly law firms, with a very large installed base and a strong proprietary data layer. Like most players, we are progressively embedding AI features into our core products. At the same time, we receive an increasing number of requests from both existing customers and third party vendors who want access to our clients’ data through APIs, typically to build their own AI driven services on top of it. My core questions are: - How should we think about monetizing this type of access in a value based way, beyond simple API call pricing? - How do leading SaaS or platform players usually structure this? - And strategically, how do you/can you avoid over exposing yourself when some of these partners may become direct competitors to your own AI modules over time? In short, how do you design an API monetization model that captures value without turning your core data and capabilities into a pure commodity?
