I think my biggest Takeaway today is that I still don’t know what the pain is, and I have to talk about it! Actually, it’s a tie between that and one message across many platforms ONE MESSAGE. It is so obvious to me at this moment that I have been all over the place my whole life. I am so interested in so many things I have written books on all kinds of different things I have websites on all kinds of different things multiple websites. I am the opposite of one message across many platforms! Which is why none of it has ever amounted to anything I mean it’s great content. it’s really good work But nobody sees it because it’s all over the place and I’ve never had a proper marketing engine or system to get exposure for any of it. Decades of work amount to not very much. So glad I am here, and I will see you in P3 university! 🙏🙏🙏

These past few weeks have been quite interesting to say the least. So a quick update on all the things and my goal is to share in hopes that the information I put out helps someone. First thing my book is out! Yayyy 🙌 and then my excitement was mildly deflated when I learned, like the very next day after launching my book, that I should be using a movie trailer to launch & promote my book🤯. I did not know that the new thing now is to use book trailers to promote your book! So just a heads up for those of you looking launch your books, start creating all things you will need to turn that book promo into a book trailer. Since I don't know how to do that, I will be taking an AI class on how to use AI to create movie trailers😮‍💨. And the last thing that has been keeping me busy is creating my YouTube channel. So I had a YouTube channel but I quickly learned that it was old and out of date. So I have been revamping my YouTube channel so I can start going LIve. And yes, sadly I am a one women show right now because I don't have a budget to pay a professional to do it for me😮‍💨 But things got to get done! So here I am. I feel like every time I think Im getting ahead another curve ball comes hurling my way to push me 5 five steps back! Does anyone feel like this? I need a Calgon moment, LOL, y'all remember those Calgon commercials from the 90s😄

You know something I never really thought about was having to go back and update all my stuff! Like I never really thought about it! Then I was on yet another webinar learning about how to grow & obtain leads. And the host said something that just struck a cord in me when he said the reason why your struggling to get gigs & leads is because all of your social media is outdated!! And I know I heard this before, but for some reason when he said it, it was like someone just slapped me in the FACE! Like REALLY! I was like come on GOD don't do me like that, LOL. But I have been told and I have heard many times all the greats in the world of speaking say that before decision makers even bother to look at your speaking application or resume they first search your social media! And I can't help but think like dang, all the speaking events I've applied for or reached out too and did't get, was probably because my social media looks like something straight outta the 90s! Is anyone else struggling with this? Like who else social media needs an update? And what are you doing about it? Just curious, let me know in the comments! As for me, message well received and I am now going through the rigorous tedious process of updating all my social media channels! Even here in this group, I have updated my profile and yes this is a current picture of me from this year, 2026 😄 .
