I woke up to a text from my friend, the chicken thief… 😆😂 This woman’s talent far exceeds mine. She excels in everything that she sets her mind to. And here she loves my simple stuffed chicken!

I made some pumpkins for my chiropractor and his office staff.

For the pumpkin I used Loops & Threads Chenille Home Slim yarn in my Addi 22 pin, 44 rows. So that was a lesson. I will make an iCord stem, as the hole is quite large. I will figure something out. I looks good, but I will not use this yarn again. It came out beautiful, but one end snapped and would not cinch shut. I show the after, then the before pictures... Be prepared 😱 🤣 This is how I learn. It still worked out. I do love the look and feel of Chenille. Ok, and Mabel has something to say... "Hai, my name's Mabel, and I'm unstable. Like my comb, want to take me home?" Maybe she will be accepted as Reggie's girlfriend? Sleepy time for me.

I picked up this yarn in a charity shop when I was away. It's made a gorgeous set, very soft and squishy but lovely and warm ☺️ Hat, cowl and fingerless gloves 😁 I was a bit worried about using it as it varys in thickness and it has lots of different strands so has a tendency to split. I neednt have worried though as the Caydo coped with it beautifully ☺️ I was also given a 400g ball of aran with wool and that knits up lovely. I'll make a hat and cowl in that as well.
