I just learned something that honestly made my blood boil, and you deserve to know it. If you join or pay for a community from inside the Skool app on your iPhone or Android, Apple or Google takes up to 30% of EVERY payment. Not just the first one. Every month. They did nothing to earn it. They just own the app store. But here is the part that really gets me. If a friend told you about this community and you clicked their link through the mobile app, that friend gets NOTHING. Not the first commission. Not any of them. Ever. Their referral can't be tracked through Apple's or Google's checkout, so the person who sent you here gets zero while a trillion-dollar company pockets 30%. I don't know about you but I would much rather that money go to a real person than to Apple. So please do this one thing for me. If you are on your phone, open your browser (Safari, Chrome, whatever you use), open the join link there, and sign up through the website. It takes ten extra seconds but your money goes to the community and to the friend who referred you instead of an app store. And one more thing. If you're browsing Skool's discovery page looking for a community to join, check first whether one of your Skool friends has a referral link for it. Your reader cannot always say why a post sounds like AI. They just scroll past it. It almost always comes down to three places. 𝟭: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 AI reaches for the same safe words again and again. They fit any business, so they say nothing about yours. 𝟮: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 Almost every sentence comes out the same length. Your reader's ear hears it, even when their eyes do not. 𝟯: 𝗡𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁 Nothing in it sounds like a person stopped to think. There is no aside and no short line that lands with weight. Most of us only fix the words. We swap a few out and post it. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆. Clean words at one flat length still read like AI wrote them. 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 👇 Read your last post out loud. Count the words in 5 sentences in a row.
