You don’t need more leads. You need to stop losing the ones already coming in.
Here's a pattern I see constantly in growing businesses: Owner invests in ads, content, or outreach. Leads come in. Team follows up... when they have time. Some book. Most go quiet. Owner thinks the leads are low quality. They're not low quality. They're cold. A lead who reaches out at 9pm Tuesday isn't waiting until 9am Wednesday for a reply. They'll find someone who responds tonight. The fix isn't hiring more people to be on standby. It's a simple intake sequence: → Instant first response (whatever time, whatever day) → A few qualifying questions handled automatically → Ready-to-talk leads go straight to the calendar → Everyone else stays warm in a follow-up sequence Same leads. Better system. More conversations that actually happen. What part of your follow-up process feels like it's leaking revenue right now? 👇

What happens to your leads after the opt-in? (Most funnels have a $0 follow-up layer)
You spend real money on traffic. People opt in. Then... silence. No personalised follow-up. No behaviour-based nudge. Just the same 5-email sequence hitting everyone the same way regardless of what they actually did. Here's what the gap looks like: - Lead visits your sales page 3 times but doesn't buy → gets the same email as someone who opened once 2 weeks ago - Lead books a call but no-shows → falls into the general nurture sequence with no re-engagement trigger - Lead replies to an email with a question → response fires on a timer, not on intent What I've been building instead: A behaviour-based follow-up layer that watches what each lead does after opting in and responds to that specifically. Different message for the hot lead who keeps coming back. Different trigger for the no-show. Different sequence for the one who's engaging but not buying. The result: fewer leads going cold, higher show rates, and a backend that earns from leads your funnel already paid to acquire. If you're running any offer with a call or purchase component — this layer usually pays for itself in the first week. What does your current follow-up look like post-opt-in? Curious what's working here.

That connection between trigger and context is where most automations quietly break — the action fires but nobody on the human side knows why it fired. The 'because' has to travel with the task. Otherwise a well-built system just creates a pile of decontextualized to-dos that nobody trusts or acts on.

🌸 HAPPY NEW WEEK, FAMILY! 🌸
A brand-new week is here, and that means another opportunity to start again, dream bigger, and take one step closer to the life you’re working toward. 🙏🏽✨ Don’t let what didn’t happen last week discourage you. Maybe you didn’t get the results you wanted. Maybe you felt tired, confused, or even questioned whether your efforts were worth it. Keep going. ❤️ Sometimes the progress you’re looking for doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up repeatedly, learning from your mistakes, improving your strategy, and refusing to quit when things get uncomfortable. This week, don’t focus only on how far you still have to go. Look at how far you’ve already come. 💪🏽 🎯 Set your goals. 📚 Learn something new. 🔥 Take action. 💻 Work on your business. 🙏🏽 Trust God through the process. 💡 And most importantly, stay consistent. You don’t need to have everything figured out today. You just need to take the next right step. Remember: consistency beats perfection. Action creates momentum. And small steps, taken every day, can lead to big results. 🚀 So whatever your goal is this week your first sale, your next client, building your store, creating your portfolio, learning digital marketing, starting UGC, or simply becoming more consistent believe that you can make progress. Let’s make this week count! ❤️🔥 Happy New Week, everyone! May this week bring you favor, wisdom, new opportunities, open doors, and results that remind you why you started. 🙏🏽✨ Don’t stop. Don’t give up. Keep building. Your journey is still unfolding. 🌱💰

@Tallahase Veronah Thank you! 😊 I’m doing good, just keeping busy and working on some exciting projects. The weather here has been pretty nice lately, with a bit of rain here and there. 😄 How about you? How’s your week going so far?

@Tallahase Veronah Definitely in the digital marketing space — specifically AI automation for service businesses. Right now I'm building missed call recovery + lead qualification systems that plug into GHL, so businesses stop losing leads just because no one picked up the phone. Good progress this week on that front. What about you — what are you building or focused on right now? Always curious what others in communities like this are working on.
I Built 3 Funnels This Week... And The Biggest Lesson Had Nothing To Do With Funnels...
Funnel Lab Update – Over the last week, I've built 3 funnels in 3 totally different industries. A pottery workshop funnel. A whiskey tasting event funnel. And a challenge funnel. Three different businesses. Three different audiences. Three different customer journeys. And while I didn't close these opportunities, I realized something important... Every funnel I build gets better. Every client conversation teaches me something. Every showposal helps me see another piece of the puzzle. One thing that has become crystal clear is this: Most businesses don't have a traffic problem. Most businesses have a SYSTEM problem. T hey have: leads they aren't following up with email lists they aren't using opportunities slipping through the cracks content without a strategy too many things happening manually As I've been going through Funnel Builder Certification and AI Secrets, I'm seeing more and more how funnels, AI, automation, and follow-up all work together. That's why I have been helping entrepreneurs and business owners navigate this fast-changing business landscape. Many businesses already have opportunities sitting right in front of them. No follow up when leads come in. No email workflows to nurture and convert leads. No real sales processes to turn interest in to income. They just don't have the systems or automations in place to help with that. Here are 3 things you can do today to make the most out of your leads and save time in your business : Make a list of every place leads come into your business. Identify one follow-up process that needs to be fixed, improved, or implemented. Ask yourself: "What task am I spending hours on every week that AI could help me do faster?" Sometimes the fastest path to growth isn't doing more. It's fixing what's already there. At least that's what I'm noticing more and more as AI becomes mainstream. I'm documenting the journey, building funnels, learning AI, making mistakes, improving every day, and sharing what I learn along the way.

3 funnels in 3 different industries in one week — that's real reps. The biggest funnel lesson most people learn the hard way: the funnel gets the lead, but what happens after the opt-in is where most businesses leak revenue. Automated follow-up that activates every lead who enters but doesn't convert immediately is often worth more than building funnel #4.
He built a subscriber base the old-school way...
Today's mystery speaker built a continuity program in the most old-school way possible — and turned it into a compounding, ever-growing subscriber base using nothing but email. He'll map out exactly how he's grown his member count month after month, and how the same model applies whether you're running a print newsletter or a brand-new SaaS company. The old-school way still works because the fundamentals don't change — give people consistent value, build trust over time, and make it easy for them to stay. What changes is the speed and scale. Pair that old-school relationship-building mindset with modern automation (email sequences, re-engagement, instant follow-up) and the compounding effect is extraordinary.
